ABSTRACT
When people experience a city, it is the food and the architecture of that place that most often have the larger cultural impact. Food and architecture are parallel creative fields due to the exuberant quality of art that exists in them. These synonymous projections were excited to explore a newer perspective, one that could inscribe value to our cities and engage a wide range of citizens. The urban food hub acts as a catalyst to activate the surrounding neighbourhoods, exemplifying one of the complex urban relationships between architecture and food. The project urban food hub is going to be a culinary complex that includes, a school that teaches culinary arts, informal markets, demonstration farms and a live kitchen to engage the public.
