This concept is inspired by the landcape and emerging new architecture of Nova Scotia’s 7,500 km long coastline. Positioned in a way that embraces the surrounding beauty of the area and offering a sweeping panorama of the fields which roll gently down to the lake. The scheme is composed of three principle tectonic elements: frame, roof, and totems. The post and beam frame – a structure in the landscape that provides for growth – recalls the long timber barns of the region.
