The abilities of patients who went under the knife were tough to comeback due to many factors. Therefore, I decided to help this group by improving the rehabilitation services. CONCEPT: MOBILITY AID

Broadened form enhances the functionality of walk and travel. Elegant styling and clean color make it attractive to patients. Simply push the seat then patients can enjoy the wide space for walking with aids. When the patient feels tired, they can sit on the wheelchair anytime and anywhere. This mobility aid can help patients go out and enjoy independence as they want.


CONCEPT: PATIENT EDUCATION

The Patient Education is a platform for patients to exercise independently during rehabilitation training. Compared to traditional way of exercise, the system can analyze the patient's physical conditons and feedbacks. Patients can enjoy highly personalized rehabilitation with the instructions from the system literally and from the voice. Doctors are able to spend less time explaining the do's and don'ts to patients.


CONCEPT: CARD-DESIGN IN CARE-GIVING SYSTEM This patient is very special. She is too old to recieve enough rehabilitation training. Therefore, the weight training should delay, and increase the times of Continuous Passive Movement.

Cards which shows the basic principles of rehabilitations can help enhance communications among doctors, care-givers, and patients and release the burden of doctors. Doctors are able to write or print some tips on the cards for patients especially in additional conditions. In this way, both patients and care-givers can follow the attentions easily.

INSPIRING & CONCEPT

Inspired by the swing, we imagined that a swing conveys a melody, so many swings convert a piece of music.

We want the barcounter changing lights with the kinds of the alcohol and be The DJ at bar.

The color of light changing as the kind of drinking changes.

PROTOTYPE

My role in final design is making the prototype of Barcounter.

BARCOUNTER The barcounter will show the aureoles and lines when the cup filled with alcohol was placed on it. Moreover, the barcounter will play the music concerted by alcohols which represent various melodies. I used Arduino to construct this prototype. The RFID tags were pasted under the cups. When a cup was contacted with the inductor, the corresponding light and music will start.

The interactive barcounter was specially designed for establishing relationships among customers, and playing musics according to customers' preferences of alcohols. The combination of the music and light serve a surprise to customers. The lines among the same kind of alcohols give opportunities to guests for finding partners.
