WEBSITES/SOCIAL MEDIA
Head Coach Curt Cignetti devotes each Wednesday morning for office time with media members to discuss the upcoming game. For all other interview requests for Cignetti, please contact the Sports Information Office.
IUPAthletics.com Twitter.com/IUPfootball Instagram.com/iupfootball Twitter.com/IUPCrimsonHawk Instagram.com/iupcrimsonhawk Facebook.com/iupcrimsonhawks
CREDENTIALS Credentials for IUP home games are issued to working media only and should be requested as early as possible. All credential requests should be directed to Sports Information Director Ryan Rebholz at rrebholz@iup.edu with the subject “Credential Request.”
All interviews with student-athletes MUST be arranged through the Sports Information Office. If a media member wishes to complete a more indepth interview for a feature story, please contact Ryan Rebholz at (724) 357-2747 or at rrebholz@ iup.edu to arrange an interview.
Interviews with Cignetti and student-athletes are more open during postgame. Student-athletes are available outside of the locker room in the Memorial Field House after the game and Cignetti will host media members in his office after he meets with the team in the locker room. There is no postgame press conference and no set times for the Cignetti conference.
MEDIA SEATING Media members are asked to make credential requests at least 24 hours prior to the game. Each visiting opponent sports information director submits a list of attending media members. To get on that list, please inform the respective school’s sports information director prior to that week.
MEDIA WILL CALL/ENTRANCE All media members must pick up credentials and enter at the George P. Miller Stadium Ticket Booth, which is open two hours prior to kickoff. The Ticket Booth is located on the East side of the stadium, in front of the main entrance (directly across from the Kovalchick Complex). Due to time contraints, visiting radio and television can pick up their credentials in the press box or from their respective sports information director.
Unfortunately, due to the size and layout of the press box at Miller Stadium, seating for the media is extremely limited and will be assigned on a priority basis.
VISITING RADIO BROADCAST The visiting radio crew has reserved seating on the upper level of the press box. A phone line will be made available for the two-person booth.
PHOTOGRAPHERS Still photographers and television cameramen will need a media credential to work from the field. Working areas are at any location on the field outside of the designated team box. Be prepared to show identification.
SCOUTS PARKING There are no parking passes for working media members. Instead, free parking for credentialed media is located in the Zink Lot, which is located on the Northwest corner of the stadium and can be reached from Maple Street. Please notify the parking attendants that you are working media for that game.
Scouts are also asked to make credential requests through the Sports Information Office. Possible ticket and credential arrangements will be made in conjunction with the Athletic Business Office. Scouts may also pick up their credentials at the Miller Stadium Ticket Booth.
