LOOM SET-UP Set up your loom in the diagonal format— 3 pegs wide x 13 pegs long (see page 10).

With the pointed end of the loom facing you, lay four pink bands in the order shown.

Then arrange four green bands as shown.

Repeat steps 1 and 2 five ve times more until your loom is full. Finish with onee pink band on the last row.

Turn your loom around so that the inverted end is facing you. Us Using the hook, lift the top green ba band on peg A onto peg B.

If you’re using a store-bought loom, you will need to join two looms together to make it wide enough. Set it up in the diagonal format—5 pegs wide x 13 pegs long (see page 10).

With the center point of the loom facing you, loop 12 silver bands over the pegs in a hexagonal pattern, following the order shown. Repeat twice more to the end of the loom.

Add six blue bands going into the center of the first hexagon. Repeat on the other two hexagons.

With the pointed end of the loom fac facing you, lay out 16 yellow bands in the order shown.

Lay six orange bands diagonally from the center pegs to the pegs on the left-hand side of the loom. Repeat with six purple bands on the righthand side.

Twist a turquoise band once around each center peg except the bottom one to make a cap band.

Turn the loom around so that the inverted end is facing you. Insert your hook into the second center peg from the bottom (peg A), pick up the purple band, and hook it over peg B. Repeat with the orange band, hooking it from peg A over peg C. Repeat all the way up the loom.

Go back to the bottom of the loom and hook all the yellow bands over their opposing pegs, working along the left side first and then the right side. So go into peg B, pick up the top yellow band, and hook it over peg A, then go into peg A and hook the bottom band over peg D, and so on.
