lucid chrysanthemum

Lucid being used for its definition as luminous and Chrysanthemum is known in the daisy flower family as having brightly colored ornamental flowers and existing in many cultivated varieties, is the name of where our first palette derives from. Signs of eccentricity and vibrancy may occur when viewing these colors. By uniting lavish purples and yellows with accents of even warmer hues, allows us to remain more perceptive than usual. We tone down with soft hues of lavender and pale yellows so we do not become overwhelmed. Finishing with a pop of green, this palette will bring you to your most vigorous self.

midsummers daydream

Even though we see fall as a transition to ominous winter we still find ourselves daydreaming about summers delicate hues. Consisting of colors which are washed out yet calming in correlation to those cool nights, they are so familiar to us we can taste them. Refreshing lemonade with a scoop of homemade strawberry ice cream, colors of yellow and creamy pinks reside in our memories. The palette being quite mellow with accents of diluted green, these colors bring us to ease. Sinking deeper in the soothing yet nostalgic memories of summers airiness, we allow it to consume us from within.

OPULENT APOGEE

Apogee is the point in the orbit where it is most furthest from the earth. The origin apobeing defined as from and geemeaning earth is where we derive the neutral palette. Naming it this specifically because no matter the distance of how far the earth may be from the moon, mother earths truest color, green, is always visible. With muted greys, blues and a pop of forest green to finish. These colors will resonate and keep us grounded.

tuscan sunset

Making our way to the seasons earth tones, imagine yourself at the top of a Tuscany hill in Italy watching the sunset. You look around and feel the cool yet warm sun beam against your face. Looking up you see a cluster of deep lustrous reds in the clouds along with muted sienna and cool deep blues. Breaking your gaze, you notice a burnt orange in the ground where your toes dig deeper embracing the earth. Gazing once again to the sky you feel how completely in control and free you feel.
