Which products and solutions do you offer for today’s workplace?
As a regional leader in digital transformation, our position is strengthened by our partnerships across the technology ecosystem which is helping us create delightful client experiences. We offer end-to-end digital solutions and partner with our clients to build digital business ventures focusing on great experience and outcomes by using emerging technologies such as AI, IoT, and Big Data.
Examples include House of Wisdom where we in partnership with Shurooq designed one of the smartest buildings in Sharjah offering a one-of-a-kind user experience, with digital and physical worlds synergically integrated via multiple pillars or Hassantuk – the world’s first secure combined fire and life safety alarm system and maintenance monitoring digital solution powered by Injazat or Malaffi, the first health information exchange in the MENA region, developed as part of the strategic Public-Private Partnership (PPP) between the Department of Health, Abu Dhabi (DOH) and Injazat – all built by leveraging a global ecosystem of partners.
We use data to cater to the digital platform economy by introducing new services and products, for instance, with increased digitalization, cybersecurity has become critical for businesses. That is why we have built a state-of-the-art Cyber Fusion Center in Abu Dhabi and the only one in the region that integrates behavior analytics and machine learning and provides a proactive and unified approach to neutralize potential threats. The platform leverages an artificial intelligence-based recommendation engine, which suggests remediation actions based on previous behavior patterns to reduce response times.
How do you think technology today helps businesses grow?
Today, businesses are using technology to automate, integrate, and re-engineer most operational processes. This has led to improved scale, streamlined processes, reduced operation costs, and increased productivity. Our solutions combine technology with industry expertise and scale. We empower human achievement, by helping organizations optimize their business goals through the cloud and emerging technology solutions, innovation, and by co-creation of transformational digital platforms and services through public-private partnerships (PPP).
Our InGenius Platform incorporates a methodology that redefines problem-solving and accelerates the process of creative ideation and innovation. Our aim is to help our clients see the art of what is possible. We follow a proven, rigorous process of innovation, engaging with our clients, talking strategy, and ideating, and then we bring in a rich ecosystem of global partners and experts to be able to quickly implement the solution.
How is tech driving our economic recovery?
The year 2020 has dealt some very difficult cards, and historically with any economic dislocation there comes a sense of clarity. In this case, technology has emerged as a clear winner especially in the last year and it continues to do so in 2021 as well. If you look at the Stock Market for example, since March 2020, tech companies are overperforming. This is a clear indication that digitalization and technology are fundamentally playing a key role not only in the recovery but also in creating a digital-first world.
This is also an exciting time for Injazat as we evolve into a National Technology Champion. Our products and capabilities utilize next-generation technologies across cybersecurity, AI, Machine Learning, enterprise application development, and more. We’ve established global partnerships with the big players in the world such as SAP, Oracle, and LTI – all of this ultimately benefits our clients. Client centricity will guide our decision-making as we progress.
How according to you, are women powering the tech industry?
I have seen that there is a great deal of effort and mindful planning to ensure women have a place and voice at the table. And we are seizing the moment; women are taking those seats in the UAE whether in the boardroom or leading the entrepreneurial wave in innovative startups. As for Injazat, we are leading the way in the Abu Dhabi tech space in terms of providing careers and development programs that empower Emirati women to advance their careers in the technology sector. Our associate development program currently employs 111 Emirati women working across multiple departments; we have women part of the technical teams, up to the leadership.
How is your company investing in the workforce of tomorrow?
If the brand is defined as the company’s DNA, then the culture is where the brand is born. At Injazat, we are evolving into a new culture – one founded on agility, operational speed, and operational excellence. Our people are our assets, that’s why we continue to invest in the right talent, upskill them, ensuring continuous learning and development of our workforce, and enabling a high-performance culture where rewards are tied to outcomes.
