Tutorial by Elsie Larson & Emma Chapman @ www.abeautifulmess.com
Roll each color of clay that you want to use into a snake about 5 long.
Combine the smaller rolls into one big roll and twist together.
Roll the large twist about twice the original length to combine the colors.
Smoosh all the clay into a ball till you see most of the colors on the surface.
Use a glass jar to roll the marbled ball out until it is 1/4 thick.
Use a round item about 6 wide as a template and cut out with a knife.
Bake the bowl according to the temperature on the clay package or air dry.
Use a small paintbrush to paint the rim of the dish and allow the paint to dry.

Tutorial by Kelly Mindell @ www.studiodiy.com Then “dip” the glue side into the confetti, sprinkling confetti on any places that it may not have stuck. Paint a good layer of decoupage glue on the area of the item you want to cover with confetti.
Let dry completely, then paint another coat of the decoupage glue over top of the confetti.
You’ll be surprised at how well the decoupage holds that confetti on!.

To make the ‘snow’, combine sugar and meringue powder in the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment. Mixing on low speed, add a scant 1/2 cup water.
Allow the cones to dry one to two hours before hanging on the tree or around the house.
Mix until icing holds a ribbonlike trail on the surface of the mixture for 5 secs when paddle is raised. Tie the ribbon around the top of the pine cone to create a loop. Then, holding the cone over a bowl, spoon fine glitter over the scales.

Make sure to sprinkle the glitter over the frosting within a minute or two of frosting, or the snow frosting with begin to harden.
