Mansion House Set in 82 acres of beautiful park land, the historic Mansion House is located at the heart of Edinburgh Zoo. A unique and versatile setting for your conference, business meeting or special event, the Mansion House provides elegant surroundings coupled with delicious food and quality service, 365 days a year. We can accommodate anything from one-to-one meetings to larger corporate meetings for up to 170 guests. Or why not hold your product launch in our education centre, which hosts up to 200 people? We are also available for small and large scale celebrations, such as weddings. A dedicated events coordinator will focus solely on the needs of you and your guests, to ensure you enjoy a truly successful event. Geddes Room
Gillespie Room Named after the founder of the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland and the Zoo’s first director, Thomas Gillespie, this is a magnificent oak panelled room with views south across the park and access to the gardens. This adaptable room gives our clients the opportunity to join with the Geddes to form our largest function suite.
Geddes & Gillespie Rooms These two adjoining rooms are perfect for meetings, private functions and fine dining events. These rooms give your guests direct private access to the extensive Mansion House gardens. Here we can offer summer parties, BBQ and other unique outdoor functions.

Keith Room Situated on the 1st floor and within one of the turrets of Mansion House, the Keith Room provides the ideal space for a small meeting, a buffet lunch or a pre-dinner drinks reception. Budongo Trail Budongo Trail is a state-of-the-art chimpanzee facility that links the excitement of seeing these stunning primates up-close with wildlife conservation, science, education and research. The chimp house offers our clients two further event spaces with a unique difference!
Boardroom This inspiring room will provide a real talking point for your delegates, who will have the opportunity to observe our troop of chimpanzees through the glass wall of their enclosure throughout the meeting. Capacity 12
Lecture Theatre As well as our boardroom at Budongo, we also have a purpose built lecture theatre which can accommodate up to 170 guests on tiered seating. The seats are removable, which allows the space to be used for a wide range of events. The theatre has a fully integrated AV system and a great view into the most popular chimp enclosure. The lecture theatre, located in our education centre, provides the ideal setting for a seminar or conference. This room has all of the AV equipment you need to make your event a success, including a built in LCD projector, a large white screen, a built in PA system and lectern.
