Thesis -The project focuses on bringing the community of the hackney wick community together by bring introducing educational and retail programme. Hypothesis -Throughout the programme that will be set for the community is educate how to farm and know more about their food chain. As a result, once learned they will later on be able to use these skills in the future for emergency purposes. Secondly, throughout the learning the outcome from the learning will later on be sell out to the local community of Hackney wick through retail programme. Method - The critical design with in the urban is the marsh land which is the vertical farming space the strategies of spatial design was given to the users as a an experience. Therefore, they don’t feel like they are been conjusted in to building and the space becomes more of similar to farming outdoor. Criteria - Due to the current situation of pandemic, the access has been improved by adding new programme which is roof opening allowing some users of the farm to safely be able to have access to the freshly harvested vegetables. These way it makes internal space safer for the local people why physically are accessing the space because there will be less flow of people with in the farm. Design Outcome - If the design is constructed through the Hackney urban space, than as per my research the expectation will be the locals will be using the space in order to share and learn their skills on harvesting but also it will bringing job opportunities with in their local area.

Site Introduction
Views
Background About The Site: The space has not been used by the local, but he warehouse are been used by the locals, there fore proposing an educational and retail would be effective in terms of boosting the area. Dating back to the history of Hackney wick, the space was over populated by warehouses. As a the days went by the area started sunk in terms of economical way. Therefore to boost the economy, the council decided to construct houses . This way it will bring people as well as job to the area.
White Lane Post: The white lane post is the official site that suits the purpose of the urban farm. The urban farm. The site is surrounded by industrial and warehouse buildings which is why the site is not as populated as the other site around Hackney wick area. Therefore, the aim of the new proposal will be to enhance the area and bring the locals together, keeping in mind also the current situation of covid 19 the proposal will be also dealing with that to keep local safe from it.
P1 Term Two Summary
Social Issue In Hackneywick
Hackney wick
The white lane post the are is very much surrounded by warehouses as well as organic food restaurants are found, which allows the community of hackney wick to use those place to socialise and entrain ,themselves. However, through out the site analysis, I was able to find out that space does not consist of any proper vegetable market.
This shop only consist of one vegetable market which retails only few amount of vegetable.
Artists space retail cooked food, which is used as a communal space.
The communal space provide people to retail as a entertainment space.
Purpose OF Proposing Mossbourne Riveside Primary School: The purpose of choosing this site as a communal programme proposal was to look in to how to solve the problem with in children not learning about food source. As a result, the urban farm scheme will be a way for people to pupil to learn more about vegetables and they can use these space as a educational pogramme as well as the school administration could purchase the freshly grown vegetables from the farm and can served to the pupil of the primary school.
Jamie Oliver's
Food Revolution Show
The show of Jamie Oliver was held in order to understand what the young kids understand about the fruits and vegetables. However, 99% of the children didn't know anything about fruits and vegetable.
Mian Yard Artist Studio: The studio is been stared with artist as well as restaurants. As a result, the proposal of the urban farm tis to allow the artist to come and farm into Hackney Harvest. The restaurants around the site can also benefit from it because they will able to use the retail programme in order in order to purchase the freshly grown vegetables.
Rahims Cash & Carry : The cash carry is a another important building that might become a competitive source, where as Hackney harvest will be delivering the locals educational scheme which will allow the local to learn and acknowledge the about farming. Secondly, the retail will allow the users to take advantage of buying fresh vegetables that are grown with in the farm.
As a result, it brings the question of what are they been educated in their early stage of fundamental development of learning. Learning about fruits and vegetables should be more installed in to their learning programs. As a result, the number of young people being obsessed will go down. Secondly, it will also help them know where the fruits and vegetable originated from and how they turned into meals.

The purpose of this farming scheme is to allows all this important people in the local l like my targeting audience like Mossbourne school and local restaurants to know more about hoe to harvest vegetables. Through out the design of the space it will allow the user of the farm to meet and communicate with others. This will only be achieve through out the design of the urban interior space which will give them these opportunity. P1 Term Two Summary

Since the site is been developed and been filled with new buildings the site only consist of shop that provides vegetables to the area. Secondly, it takes five minutes to get to the shop where only limited vegetables are been sold. Therefore, Hackney Harvest is beside having harvesting programme. I will be providing those freshly grown vegetables in batches. This way the enitre hackney wick community can benefit from it.
10%of the site consist of schools educating people. Incorporating the idea of school in to initial idea will enhance the concept further.
1% of the site consists of a train station which helps the people to travel easily from one borough to another borough,in much shorter time.

The programme listed above is the programme will be provided to the hackney wick community. The reason for doing this was to bring the community of hackney wick together. As a result, the aim of this concept was to bring the community of the hackney together. The program will be separate in to learning and exploring knowing more about fruits and vegetables. The grown vegetables that will be produced by the users will later on be distribute to the hackney wick community through out the retail programme.
65% of the people in hackneywick has a job and and finacially stable. Whereas, 36% of the population are unemployed. Those population could be homeless people, house wives or teenagers.

5.6 % of the house wives are unemployed. As a result, proposing a design which helps housewives could to gather and socialise and also educate themselves arround on the pogramm that I am going to be proposing.
Homes
The amount of housing can be also be treated as a part of the solution. The canal which consist of waste those waste and the food waste from people homes can be collected and can be used in as a part of reusing in the building pogramms.
P1 Term Two Summary
Concluding For Further- Design Iteration To conclude will be further developed which where the the design will come with lot more programs which will still link with same idea of local farming. But the design will be more focussed more in to how to bring the involvement of the whole area of Hackney wicks. Those will iterations will be achieved by adding programs like adapting behives space in to study bod which will have social impact too. Hence it will bring job because care taker will be in need in order to deliver the idea oh how this species works.
The plan for the cubical farm will be expanded through out he entire farm allowing the people of the farm to go in to different level of the farm. As a result this can be the answer to notion ownership. If the future is been counted on how the site been flooded with high raise apartment meaning that it will consist more living area. In order ,to tackle that issue in the future the people will have less chance to create their own garden in their house where they grow their own vegetables. Therefore the solution to this will be locating urban farm where they be guided and their vegetables will be looked after and also they will be bale take them home with at the end of the month when they are fully matured.
Changes will be brought in the study pod, where the program in depth of plant studies will also include studies of bee life. As a result, spatial space of the pod would have to go under some design iteration which would have to develop the sense of habitation for the bees. In terms of the education effect, it will allows the local uses to be able to learn about the bees. Which then the people could also expand their own business where they could sell fresh organic honey produced by the hackney harvest farm. Secondly, in terms of adapting space for bees, the space also bes used for honey production and later can be used to the retail pogram and sell to the local people.
For further development, in to the urban farm, there will be increased of farming facilities. Hence, the services and the other programs of the building will mostly stay same. However, my initialise idea of how the circulation will performed is that in each levels people will be able to transfer from one place to another. Secondly, different iteration can be added with in the farming order to all the cubical farm to be much more dominate.
Since the canal user has been around the site for a long period of time. For the next design development exercise I would like to incorporate places in to the building pogramme, even through this time when the urban farm was design the access point of them was not taken offer by the farm. Therefore next time I like to add hollow space which will allow the user to come inside farm with their boat as a result, the centre focus of the building will become much more important and the positive impact of the tectonic moment will be much more gather than before.
By adding the entrance with in the will allows open the opportunity the canal users to access to the building programs. Secondly, the for the building to be compatible with the new surrounding which will be water. As result the exterior of the building would have to use material that will be bale to resist the water pressure if there is any flood since from the site analysis the site has been identifies as a flood zone.
Vertical Farming Floor Plates Vertical Farming Vertical Farming Staircase Vertical Farming The diagram illustrates how floor plates will be operating when the vertical farming will be repeated thorough out he space in order to tackle the idea of notion of ownership. How will it work ? The staircase will be inserting in between the floor plate gaining the access to the each of the farm and this will be created in different height in order to creates void and allow the user to interact through out the space.
By opening access the canal will mean that there will be greater use of the retail space this is because it will allows the people canal user to get in to the urban farm get the fresh grown vegetables for the retail space. On the other hand, people will be able to also access to the vertical farming where they can come and take part on the education part of the programme which will be offered by the urban farm.
P1 Term Two Summary
Final Form Iteration
Iteration 01- The exploration of the form was to allow create two separate compartments in order to create a centre focus ( tectonic moment ). The tectonic moment in the middle of the space was created in order to create to a void in the middle of the space. As a result, this will allow the user of the of the compartments to use the void to visually communicate.
Iteration_02- The form create here was a refine version of the previous idea, while creating this I considering how the user of the farm will be able to get the most out of the tectonic moment as well as the view. In terms of environmental comfort I have faced the building facade with windows to the water. As a result, the stale air produced by the building and the users can be pumped out of the building using those window.
Iteration_03- The form formed is demonstrated by adding slanted roofs on top of the structure that will be used for the urban design, in order to separate the form in tow section. As a result, the middle section of the form becomes much more dominant because the tectonic moment space will be used by the users in order to go from one space to another.
Iteration_04- The developed form design is considers all the issues of where windows has been added but the principle has been kept the same through out the design where both of the compartments has been kept the same. The tectonic moment has been keep as a open space. As a result the people are able to interchange from on de side of the farm to another. The slanted roof has been slanted inwards towards the tectonic moment in order to reflect the light in and could give sunlight in to the farm, in order to carry out photosynthesises.
Final Developed Iteration - The final developed iteration has been designed which kept the same principal. The roof design has been changed in order to allow more light in to the farm as well as to light up the tectonic moment. This way it will increase the process of photosynthesis of the plants which will be planted with in the urban farm.

Research On Floating Market
Countries With Floating Farm
Floating market is place where good and other things are sold through the boat. The tradition of floating market was a daily part of peoples life. The floating market was commonly known in these countries Thailand Indonesia Vietnam, Bangladesh, India and Sri lank. In modern days as the technology advances, the more the tourism industry plays an important role, since human beings want to learn new ideas and experience new things and environments The past history of carrying out a floating market was to that sellers would buy the goods which where transported through the seas. As a result, the people surrounded by the river they will line up and come to collect all the good they wanted. “Boats were mainly used for local and regional trade, bringing goods from those that produced to those that could barter and trade.” The impact of the floating market community identity on the people of community was to form both positive and negative characteristics. The positive impacts consisted the occurrence of a floating market which became known to outsiders and the employment and monetization of community members. The negative impacts included the changes to the traditional lifestyle such as the change from a barter system to a trading system and the change in the types of relationship from generosity to competition.
Response To Floating Market
Philippine
Indonesia
Thailand
Thailand
These are the countries that still kept the tradition of floating market which kept their economy stable because of the tourist attraction. I think the beauty of having the floating market shows the interaction and how the people actually utilises land and water. The boat community actually becomes much more of an art because they have share the space in order to provide the good that they have just brought and also creates a competition of who can actually sell the more than the other.
The concept of the floating market will be applied in the existing urban farm design this is because the further development of the urban was to response how the canal user will be benefiting from it even before the covid -19 outbreak or even after the outbreak. The outdoor vertical farming will allow the canal users to grab their boxes if there was done in order response to the new brief which will be involving technology which will allow the canals user to still maintain the 1- 2 metres distance which will allow those people to actually using their boat. As a result the canal people could either take their own small boxes which will allows them take it with them and grow fruits and vegetables. Furthermore, since the brief tackles the idea of The red boxes symbolises what the greenery box that will be growing their vegetables, with an help from the urban farm user the canal users who lives on the will be able to collect them and they will be able to leave them on top of the boats and grow their vegetables.
However, the disadvantage is that how the people will actually store the product that they want to retail but they can only store limited product because the boat is small therefore they would also have to consider their storage capability. Therefore, they also have to use the river s side as a place where they can store extra product. En.wikipedia.org. 2020. Floating Market. P1 Term Two Summary
Research On Social Distancing & The Impact On Retail Since the outbreak has started rules has been applied like people specially in terms of shopping. Food retailers has to take the measure under consideration this is because the since the outbreak has taken place people are not able to actually shop like as they did before people. They are been told to shop by queuing up and maintaining 2 metre gap. As a result, this is will allow have less chance to spread the virus if any of them were infected by Covid-19. Moreover, people has been told to buy essential products which are food and toiletries but on top this has been done so the other vulnerable people can do their shopping too.
How’s Hackney Harvest Will Be Maintaining the Rules ? The concept of having the vertical farms across the entire floor allowing more people and the community get involved but what will happen if the people who we should be prioritising after the pandemic and who were effected by it. This could also lead the solution of how the freshly grown vegetables can be delivered amongst the users could lead to a solution of how safely vegetable that they were growing can be send to their users front door. The concept of having the 2 metre gap in between each boxes for the indoor and outdoor vertical farm will be applied. As a result, this will make the people stay away from each other. It does not necessarily have to because of the Covid 19 but having the distance is safe gap and will allow preventing the vegetable growing in to the each other and leave enough gap to walk through. Furthermore after the pandemic the people will be able to still maintain that in order to get to the habit.
Maintaining 2 Metre Gap Rule ? Vertical Farming
Vertical Farming
The idea of bringing this concept will allow to open up opportunity for the people safely shop. Since, the project should response to delivering of the self growing pods will be an priority for those who can use them to grow their own vegetables. Platform
Moreover, since technology has developed it is taking a huge part in this outbreak people are been using the drone to deliver food and medical supplies. I will be incorporating this futuristic way of delivering products to public door step. Moreover, using this technology in to my design will open up more opportunity for the workers and as well as in terms economically the people will benefit more the people learning hoe to grow they will be able to use those skills and they will be able to use delivered product in their house to grow their vegetables.
Vertical Farming
Platform
Vertical Farming
Maintaining 2 Metre Gap Rule ?
The 2 metre gap rule will be applied through the interior. Secondly, more staircase will be added in between the indoor vertical farming allowing the people have option the to still use more than one staircase rather than using not one stair case in order to come to their vertical farm. This is because it will allow the people of the vertical farm to use their floor own staircase which will lead them to the next one. Moreover, the staircases will be separated from the main staircase. As a result, people are able to be use alternative way that will keep them away from each other this is will be done in preparation for further pandemic because it is an urban farm which will make the people to work in a group which can effect their health if there was a pandemic had to take place.
The vertical farm will be placed next to the platforms so again the gap distance is maintained. However, the platform create that much of a problem. However, since the vertical farm is wide it might effect the way people gonna harvest. Therefore the size of the boxes will should be reduced other wise more platform should be around it.
P2 Design Development
Advance Delivering Method In Response To Hackney Harvest The Government will begin trialling the use of drones to help deliver vital medical supplies during the coronavirus crisis. Transport secretary Grant Shapps told the daily Downing Street coronavirus briefing that there were ‘tentative signs’ that progress is being made in the fight against the virus. He said that transport routes are a ‘critically important’ part of the response and announced a new support package to ensure freight routes bringing essential goods into the UK remain open. As part of those measures, Mr Shapps revealed that he has ‘also given the green light to trials of drones to deliver medical supplies’.
How’s Hackney Harvest Will Be Delivering the Rules ? The concept of having the vertical farms across the entire floor allowing more people and the community get involved but what will happen if the people who we should be prioritising after the pandemic and who were effected by it. This could also lead the solution of how the freshly grwon vegetables can be delivered amongst the users could lead to a solution of how safely vegetable that they were growing can be send to their users front door. The idea of bringing this concept will allow to open up opportunity for the people safely shop. Since, the project should response to delivering of the self growing pods will be an priority for those who can use them to grow their own vegetables. Alot of trial has been put out by the government in order to how safely food and first aid can be delivered to the public. From my point of view for post pandemic a lot of changes will be done where people will have to adapt to them. As a result of that, if in the future people will be easily adapt to the same habits of having the 2 metre gap, therefore in the future if there is any outbreak people will still be able to use this tactic and avoid the outbreak from spreading. In terms of the government putting restriction the gap is something that I will be also considering into my design. So the people will be getting their vegetables distributed safely.
The delivery concept will be introduced through mobile app which can be accessed by the urban farm user. As a result, this app will provide all the important details of what they would want the Hackney Harvest organization to provide them to their door step through the drone.
The convey belt machine will be a new technology that will be places inside the farm. As a result, this will increase the process of having the delivering the products to the users of the urban farm users. Furthermore, these boxes will be delivered to the users which will have all the supplement that they will be ordering thorough the orderize app. Furthermore, Hackneys Harvest will also be providing boxes that they can use in order to grow their own vegetables on it or it will be already grown for them and the users can extract that and will give the users similar experience of how they grow
After the parcel is been delivered it will be then attached with the strings and the settings will be set by main office according to the users destination and it will be delivered to users house.
The packages will be delivered to the users and the drone will be automatically set up by the head office Hackney’s Harvest. Furthermore, the users will just take the box off the drone and the drone will return back to Hackney Harvest drone power station.
The illustrations here shows how the people able to use the drone service in order to get their freshly grown vegetables.

Matternet’s new drone landing station looks like a sci-fi movie
Risk for using Drone Beside Matternet thereare companies, Dhl and Amazon are trying to introduce drone delivery. Their German postal company Deutsche Post AG DPW, 1.84% DPSGY, 0.74% presented a new, unmanned aerial vehicle which has the capacity of carrying up to two kilograms, or almost 5 pounds, for several kilometres. Based on the launch, Hu Huazhi, founder and CEO of EHang, said, he expects smart drone delivery to be expanded and realized in more areas, given the growing prominence for business operations and delivery in China. The EHang Falcon utilizes eight propellers on four arms and includes multiple redundant systems for a full backup plan in case of mechanical problems and can carry loads up to 5 kilograms per flight.
Far from the free-form delivery network envisioned by Prime Air or the like, Matternet’s drone deployments have been fixed point-to-point affairs focused on quickly connecting a handful of locations that frequently trade time-sensitive deliveries: hospitals. The drone landing port has its techno organic curves and flower like hatch on top. The 10-foot-tall station seems to channel the likes of “Star Trek: The Original Series” and “Lost in Space,” and no doubt it’s intended to be eye-catching as well as functional. When the drone arrives, the top opens and the drone lands right in the center, where it is enclosed and grasped by the station’s machinery, unburdened of its payload, and given a fresh battery. The payload is contained in the tower until it is called for by an authorized person, who scans a dongle to receive their package. If there are multiple deliveries or drones, however, the one inside will leave and enter a holding pattern about 60 feet above, in an “imaginary donut.”
Advance Retail Programme ? The concept of having advanced drone technology, will be used in order to keep the hackney neighbourhood safe for the post pandemic. The drone service will be provided by the Hackney Harvest. The service for all the fresh vegetables that were grown before by the locals inside the farm will still be distributed but safely which will become futuristic way of delivering shopping and it will change the way of how people are might start using retail digitally rather than actually being physical. The illustration describes the approach that Hackney Harvest will be taking to enhance hackney wick’s local retail service where they will be able to use hackney harvest drone delivery which will bring their fresh local grown vegetable to their door step.
The station will get its first installation in the second quarter of this year, at one of Matternet’s existing customer hospitals. Presumably it will roll out more widely once this shakeout period ends. The station are also used to charge up the drones which will allows them to reach the destination that was set by the users.
Using both GPS and visual identification systems, the fully automated UAV can take off and land atop “intelligent cabinets,” (at left) EHang said, that were developed for loading and offloading shipments.

Parisian Penthouse With Eyes Over City Designed By Matteo Cainer Architects
Milan Expo 2015: ‘Naturally Yours’ | Penda and Alex Daxböck ‘Naturally Yours’ is basically infrastructure for the harvesting process. The structure sustains planting food that, in turn, would be served at the restaurant the pavilion houses. It houses a ramp that takes you through the space and simultaneously through the growing and harvesting process. The ramp, then, leads to the restaurant, so the procession through the space is also the procession through the grow-harvest-eat process.
matteo cainer has revealed plans for a penthouse in paris soaked in natural light. combining unfinished yet refined materials to create a delicate contrast between rough and polished surfaces, the renovation of the top-floor apartment transforms an awkward property, that has been abandoned for over 30 years, into an open, elegant and serene living space. the project — named ‘forêt urbaine’ or ‘urban forest’ — aims to bring in the surrounding parks by creating spaces for greenery while capitalizing on natural light. in order for the design team to achieve its objectives, the structure has undergone an in-depth gutting before consolidating a new structural frame. subsequently, all interiors and exteriors have been specified in every detail, from door handles, bathroom sinks to specific lights and built-in furniture. the roof level has been conceived with a specific landscape design, from a dining area to a lounge space, an open air cinema, enchanted garden, and fire place. there is also a light structural-glass veranda and spaces for entertainment and gym equipment, all of which are designed to evoke contemporary ‘hanging gardens’. with the sun in mind, a further level has been incorporated, a wooden pergola whose structural role is supported by sculptural chimneys in the floors below. specifically designed to lift the patio’s glass walls, as well as incorporating a deployable brise-soleil, from here the expanse of the city views can be enjoyed in there entirety while the environment below is cleverly controlled by shading specific zones. the underlying factor in the project is the landscape design which establishes a dialogue between nature and architecture, interior and exterior, and man and his environment. the result is a graceful invasion of the living spaces with colors, scents and visual scenarios, and an enchanted contemplative roof garden that has the potential to act as a biodiverse link with the cities’ surrounding parks. in addition to the plantings, the pergola and the use of natural ventilation, the property features photovoltaic panels, in-floor heating and cooling to make the renovation a very sustainable and low-carbon footprint project. the penthouse is set for completion in 2018. Similar, concept will be used with in the building which will allow the user of my urban farm to actually visualise and explore indoor vertical farming. This is because the people will be able to see from each part of the building what is happening, even though the building will be surrounded by the greenery. In between the vertical farming boxes people will still be able to see all the activities that will be held with in the farm. This will be achieved by having the void in the middle of the building. designboom | architecture & design magazine. 2020. Matteo Cainer Architects Design Parisian Penthouse Soaked In Light. The pavilion of ‘Naturally Yours’ faces the temporal aspect of nature, but also the temporal flow of people. The modular structural system creates the 3.6-meter grid which the modules are based. The pavilion’s modularity speaks to its temporal aspect by allowing the members to adapt to the occupancy and also be reused if need be. As much as the building is meant for the people, the building also houses the plants. So, the designers have accounted for the harvesting process keeping in mind seasonal change. The space is a sculptural building. It is meant to be occupied, but also to be a symbol. The façade manifestly celebrates the plants and showcases them to the people. It is contextual, because it is a reflection of current time and also of the culture, for Austria serves the most local and organic food in shops and food markets. The pavilion will basically be where the seeds are planted and the food is grown, harvest, then eaten.
https://www.arch2o.com/milan-expo-2015-naturally-yours-penda-and-alex-daxb%C3%B6ck/ The modular structure was an inspiration to my design which reflection nature but also hold encounter of people flow through out the structure. Similarly, with in my design, I will be using this concept. Therefore, as the people move around the space they will be surrounded but plants. But they still will be bale to enjoy the space because it will allow the people to still look through the void and see how other people on the other side of the building utilises the space which will go together. Moreover, the space will be designed so the people are able to learn and also feel like they are having similar experience of farming outdoor where they use trees. Whereas, the space will be using artificial boxes which will have all the ingredients that will allow the people of the user to know about they work and also know about how to take care off them plug them of the box.

Indoor and Outdoor Vertical Farming The circulation inside the floor still remains same but since indoor vertical farming has placed along the interior which will change how the people enters the indoor vertical farm. The vertical farming is been linked with main floor plates result allowing people to go from the main floor to the indoor vertical farming floor.
The second floor will give people the access come from ground floor to the too the second floor. The staircase will have its own railing and this was added to the design of the staircase in order to prevent people from falling. In the same open floor of the vertical farm there is another space where people can use that space in order to go to other floor of the vertical farm.
Indoor and Outdoor Vertical Farming : The entire farm has been spread across the entire side of the stair case farming this is because the vertical farm box farming will give the same experience to the users because they will be literally using the same way of planting and plugging out any vegetables out of the box which again through learning they are getting the similar experience as they would have gotten if they were farming outside in a land. 2nd Main Floor : The second floor will be used for educational purposes where people will be able to understand the process behind growing vegetables and also importance of it. But the second floor only consist of box which allows the users to grow their vegetables but beside that they will also be able to go to extended farm which will allow them to grow and plug vegetables as if they were farming outside. 3rd Main Floor : The third floor will be linked with the vertical farm. However, the barrier that has been placed to for safety reason they will remain there because in order to get inside the indoor vertical farm a staircase has been added to it. Therefore, people will able to also access from the main floor too Ground Floor Access Point To Indoor Vertical Farm The ground floor consist of only one staircase that gives the user only one way to access the indoor vertical farm. This has been done because the space below of the was covering up for the staircase farming space as well as the main entrance staircase. Therefore, having the only a single stair case will maximise the use of the ground floor and allow it to be much more open.
3rd Floor Access Point To Indoor Vertical Farm The access to the indoor vertical farm will have its own entrance can be done from the main entrance. However if people from the second floor will be bale to also get into the vertical farming. For safety reason I have decided to split both of the staircase, In case if there is any fire with in the urban since the farm will consist plants it will easy allow the fire to expand across the indoor vertical Indoor and Outdoor Vertical Farming : The entire farm has been spread across the entire side of the stair case farming this is because the vertical farm box farming will give the same experience to the users because they will be literally using the same way of planting and plugging out any vegetables out of the box which again through learning they are getting the similar experience as they would have gotten if they were farming outside in a land. 2nd Main Floor : The second floor will be used for educational purposes where people will be able to understand the process behind growing vegetables and also importance of it. Tectonic Momment
The concept behind the developing the vertical farming was to cover the entire floor with vertical farming boxes. However, doing this it will result, to block the main entrance and the tectonic moment which is why the building were separated in two section which will allow the middle space of the building to become the tectonic moment. Therefore, during this design development the interior space still maintenance the same concept of giving the people the opportunity look through another side of the building. This way the tectonic moment is maintained through out the design.
Later in the process the front side of the vertical farm will be taken under consideration in terms of safety precaution the front of the farm will be covered with railings which will be done in order prevent people from falling from the platform.
Indoor Vertical Farming The study pod will be placed on top of the vertical farm. This will allow the vertical farm to be secured in place and stable. The reason for attaching the vertical farm was because the main floor of the study pod is attached to the main floor which will transfer all the strength to the foundation. Therefore, even the platform of the vertical farm is connected to the main floor. As a result, the indoor vertical farm becomes much more stable and has less possibilities of collapsing.
The indoor farming is introduced inside the urban farm which will be used by the same users but the purpose of this vertical farming was to create more space, as a result this will allow the people to be more practical and this way the space will becomes much more important to the user because they are experiencing and learning how to grown vegetables plug vegetables out of the pods. The platform in between of the vertical farming box are used to allows the people to circulation through the vertical farm.

Effect On The Users
Reference: Matheo Cainer Architects
The idea behind the concept was to make the user of the marsh land to get a similar idea of having a garden that replicated an outdoor farming where tall trees. In response , to the covid 19 the urban farm will be the 1 m gap under consideration. As a result, this will allow the user of the keep away from any unknown diseases that could effect overall of the urban farm users.
The concept of this floor was to allow the user of the urban to interact with the space. The marsh land offers a floor which is filled with grass. The idea was to make the user feel like they are farming outside. As a result, when the user are walking around the floor, they are able to actually feel like they are in a similar space as if it is an outdoor farming. The idea of walking through each of the boxes was to allow the user to use all the sense. For example, as they walk thorough the space they will be able to see each the see each other, smell the plants and also visualise the space. As a result, walking through the space not only allows the user to learn about the plant they are also able to get feeling of they are in a magical space surrounded by plants.

Drone Station : All the drone station will be scattered around the four main study pod area. The charging pads will placed around above the roof level, so it will be floating in the sky. As a result, this will make the take off easy for the drones.
Satellite Radar Power Supply: The power supply has pipes that are been connected to the batteries cylinder this is because the power that is been collected from the study pod are then has been distributed among the charging plates.
Power Supplies
Net Shield Charging Plates
Users : The users will still use the greenery aground the pod to study about it but they will also be able to see how the delivery of the fresh vegetables grown in to the farm are been done. This is why the pods where inserted within the study pod. So the user are able to experience the new delivery process.
Charging Plates: The charging plates is where all the drones are going to be resting when they are not going to be any delivery. The plates will be powered by the batteries that are been connected to the batteries. The batteries will be supplying all the energy that will be needed to charge up the drones. Therefore, it can reach to its destination.
Batteries Net Shield: The net shield has been used for weather protection because the station will be exposed out in the air.The net has been also added where they have opening which will allow the drone to be secure and it wont be exposed to people.
The climbing steps is for the drone management, where they are able to climb up. To check on the drone charging station.
Steps Batteries : The batteries has been connected to the power supply pipes so that it charges up by the energy. Then energy will be transferred to the station plates where the drone will be charged.
Fruits and Vegetables has been ordered to be taken by the drone !
Steps: The step has been used where the people are able go up in the station and check if there is any type of technical difficulties they will be able to go up by using these staircases.
Operating Chamber
Operating Chamber: The operating chamber is where the people will be using the TV screen will be provided and the through that the operator will be able to bring the drone down from the station to the him where he will be bale to hang the packages.
Drone Station: The drone station was designed in order to carry out services like delivering the fresh vegetables to the Hackney wick door step. The purpose of taking this step was to actually for post pandemic reason, having this kind of service will allow the people safely still carry out their daily vegetable shopping.
The Drone Station
Furthermore, if there is anymore pandemic that take place in the future , the idea of this new technology could do really well and will keep all people safe because people will be able to use this air delivering service which will bring their ultimate vegetables to their door step.
The drone station is just a platform where drones will be resting in order to collect all the fresh vegetables that are been produces by Hackney Harvest.
The delivery for the fresh and fruit and vegetable will be ordered by the user of the urban farm. The app will allow the people to actually pick and collect the fruit and vegetable.
Then when the order will be hanged to the drone it will be then delivered to the requested location to the door steep of the user.
Programme: The programme of the study pod is to provide the people of the study pod a space where they investigate the and more about the plants that are around the study pod.
Study Pod and Drone Station: The drone station and study pod has been placed together in order to allow the user to experience the spatial space in a different way which will allow the user to experience the space freely because the study pod only consist of a open floor and it does not consist of any farming. The farming takes place around the space across the entire steel structure.
More Steps !!
The illustration of the drone station demonstrates how the drone station will be functioning along all the other programme with in the urban farm.
So each chambers can be accessible.
The steel frame will have cuts out through the pod which will be for the drone station. Through out the station the workers will be able to actually use their chamber in order control the out coming and incoming drones.
Furthermore the drone station will be located inside the study pod so as the people come to the inside the study pod to farm. People will be able to see the process of how the farm will be delivering to other customers.
Hanging packages filled with farm grown vegetable on to the drone for home delivery.
This is the chamber where the drone controller will be using the space which is the control room.
Workers waiting for parcel to be collected by the drone.
Furthermore, the concept of placing the station with in the study pod was to allow the user to engage with the greenery around the steel frame which will allows users to explore about the spices as well as about the delivery.

Programmatic Content | Vertical Farming Boxes The vertical farming was previously used with in the urban farm. However, the farm will be used where the people will be able to actually be also use this new way of farming inside the farm, where the people will also be able to use the indoor space in order to learn and explore how to garden where the tress will be placed with squares. The squares boxes will have different type of layers inside which will allow the plants to grow through. The inside of the boxes will have elements that will have elements like water pipes which will be used later on the day to mechanically used to water the plants with in the urban farm when the users wont be around.
Steel frames : The steel frame will be the basic structure that will be holding up the frame. In order for the other panels to be joined on to the frame. They will have to be welded as a result they will stay safe and stable on to its place.
Back Panels: The back panel will be the space where all the secondary structure will be connected to them.
Secondary Structure: The secondary structure will be used to keep hold of the back panels.
Main Irritation Pipes
' L ' shaped jamps: This are the beams that will be attached to the back panels. Secondary Structure Irritation Pipes
Waterproofing board: The waterproofing board will be used keep the water away to get in to the cubical box so that it does not interrupt other programs that will be linked with in the cube.
Mud Metal Rod Frame
Irritation pipe: The irritation pipe are the pipes that will be used in order to plant the greenery.
Hydro phonic Skin
Hydroponic skin: Hydroponics is to allow the plants roots to come in direct contact with the nutrient solution, while also having access to oxygen, which is essential for proper growth.
Water System: The water system will be placed in the middle of the pipes which will allow the water be spread through out farm boxes. The water will equally distributed through out the boxes using those irritation pipes which will allow the people the plants to get as much as water which will allow them to carry out photosynthesis. The vegetation will be attached to the boxes where the soil will be placed 40 mm deep within the box. As a result, this soil will hold on place aswell as the plants.
Water system: The water system has been added through the vertical farming box. This is because the boxes will have water pipes running through the bud filled box which will allow the water to be passed through out the pipes that are connect to the frames that the water than be consumed by the plants that are grown. This mechanical way of water the plants was done in order to systematically maintain the plant in good condition. Therefore, when the users are not around the space internal structure will be utilised through technology to water the plants.
Plants : On top the plant will seat, which will grow through out he entire cube and behind that screen there will be all the program set in order to keep the vegetation alive.

Marsh Land 2nd Floor
Marsh land: The floor of the indoor farm be different from the other floor this is because the indoor vertical farming floor will consist of and different plant and the reason for doing this is to allows allow the people to actually experience the garden to be magical and also learn have a similar environment as if they were in an actual outdoor garden. 2m The design considers the current situation of covid 19. Therefore since the space will be shared between the public. Therefore in the future it any similar situation undertake people might have to consider the 2 m gap so that they still carry on learning and growing vegetables.
This the second floor of the marsh land and it has small pockets where the floor has pockets where the vertical farming boxes will be go through the pockets. As a result, since this is the second floor of the indoor farming it will have stair case which will allow people to up and down.
Underground passage way : The spatial space will be build underground this is because the space above will be used for the people to go from one side of the urban to the farm where two different programs are been set. The purpose of having this ungrounded passage was to hide all the toilet and offices out of the users view. The underground passage also allow people to keep the flow of people to be much more smooth because this is because the people are able to use the space above and they are still able to go from one space to another.
Vertical Farming Boxes: The Vertical Farming boxes will be then inserted through each of the gap in between the marsh land floor. The purpose of having a vertical farm was to allow the people to learn how to grow fruits and vegetables and also being able to feel like they are farming in an outdoor farming.
The underground passage also allows people to go from one side of the building to another with out using the overground space. The underground space also offers the farm worker office space with a library fitted on the wall, where they can carry out any administration work.
This space will be used by the public as well as the worked of the urban farm. This space was designed ungrounded away from the visitors eye. Therefore, the space has been separate male and female toilets which also come with a small shower room. Therefore, the people are allowed to wash themselves after a long time farming.
Vertical Farm
Farm_1: This indoor vertical far is the new feature that has been added to the farm in order to allow trhe people of the hackney wick to grown their vegetable in two different styles. The difference between box farming and the vertical farming is that the box farming makes you only farm with in the space and does not gives you the freedom to move around as much. Therefore, the urban farm should be the place where the people are able to communicate with other people and also interact with the space so they are able to learn how to grow vegetable. Therefore the indoor vertical farming will be the space gives the user of the farm much more freedom to go surround and use the space which will allows them to actually give them walking into a magical garden which will have a lot of boxes which will allow the user to have a similar experience because people are able to walk around the space and see different types of fruits and vegetables. This way the space will become much more educational top all type of The railing has been added to the indoor internal floor this is because the floor is been connected to the main floor of the urban farm. Therefore, it has been added for the safety reason of the users. The railing has different levels and this is because I wanted the user to be able to use those different levels to actually look in to the tectonic moment.

These boxes will later on be slide through the pockets which will be hanged from study pod. The distance between each of farming box will be 2 m. Therefore, when the people are walking through they are still maintaining the 2 m gap which should be constant through out for the post pandemic.
The ungrounded passage will connect to the main entrance threshold, which allow the people to enter from outside into the urban farm. The threshold comes with an ramp which has been added in order to allow disable people into the building easily.
Vertical Farm Vertical Farm
The purpose of having the vertical was to give the user space where they are freely allowed to walk through the space and have experience that they are farming outdoor.
Retail: The other side part of the of farm consist of retail as well as urban farm same principal has been applied in this side of the building. Through this design the building consist of the program of learning and retailing. The learning of how to grow fresh fruits and vegetables will take place on the floor and the retail will be taking place with in ground floor. The indoor vertical farming (marsh land) will also be taking place above the retail section. Therefore, half of the retail section has been left open so the people are able to still use tectonic moment in order to visualise on the other side of the urban farm.

In terms of the users experience with programme and the spatial organisation will change notion of online shopping the users used to. The physical experience will encourage the people to come use the space more often which will give them life time knowledge on to grow vegetables practically as well theoretically.
In order to prevent the user from falling off the floor this railing will be used which are made from thin wire and will be all around the floor.

The concept of the window design was to allow the user of the urban farm was to use part of the floor and through that transparent window, from the other side which is the farm will be able to experience the activities through the windows.
Secondly, the purpose of facing box farming towards the riverside, was allow the boat users to engage through the building facade. As a result, this will allow the users of the the canal to be curios and also be to come farm and explore the different space.
3 In addition, Mossbourne Riverside Primary School was another reason for facing window facade towards to the school. Therefore, when the pupils are using the south side of the building they will be able to see the farming that is taking place

Farm_2 is located right on the North side of the of the site, This gives the farm users to view as well as it create an impact to the outside users. Hence, the reason for adding the glass fitted on to the wooden wall was to allow the building on the opposite which is the school to look through the activities that goes inside the building which local people learning how to farm. Beside the local users, the design of the farm also considers the people will be entering from other side of the building. I also wanted the canal user to be involved with in the urban farm project. This is because the canal user community can benefit from the building pogram this is because they will be able to buy their local grown vegetables and use it for their cooking. The middle section of the building will be open. As a result, this allow the people still look outside. But the reason for keeping the middle section of the building open was to allow the enough light in to the building. Therefore, as a result light entering the building will be highlight the void which is the tectonic part of the building. 1
The North elevation demonstrates how people how exterior of building will be visually been send through other urban space as other neighbouring building.

The roof construction sits on top of the sets of trusses. The trusses are the main support to the green roof. In order, to make the roof safe to the user the users, under the green roof there is going to be layers that will be used in order to prevent any rain water to going through to inside the building. 0
The insertion and the extract out of the farm will be also be taken out through the timber bow string trusses. The space in between each truss will be they space will be utilised and way which the air will use in order to be extracted or for insertion.
Grass: The layer of grass has been added on top of the of thin layer of lining board there for the soil and the grass does not get transferred in to the structure. Therefore, having the lining board underneath will hold the green layer on place.
1
Glass: The glass has been designed according to the truss. The glass sheet will be fitted to the frame. As a result the price of cutting the glass in to each farm would have been much more expensive.
2
Lining Board : The lining board will be used in order to act as an fire defender which will prevent the roof from getting burnt easily. The lining will resist the water and other ingredient form the soil to get in to structure.
3
The roof structure has been designed in order to carry out environmental comfort beside providing the shelter to the urban farm. The window frame has been placed in between in order to take out the all the of the urban farm which will be produced by the users aswell as the plants.
Rain Proof Screen: The rain proof screen will be used to stop the rain water in to the structure. It will also act as an insulation that will will allow the user to take in all the sunlight in and store it and release back in to the structure.
4
Insulation: The insulation will be a thing layer of timber sheet, since it a has good resistance it will capture the heat and also in terms of aesthetic it will give a nice organic look to the interior.
5
Timber Window Frame : Timber window frame has been added. Also they act as structural support. The truss will be sitting on top of the structure window frame. Therefore the load will be distributed through the frame to the wall.
6
Glass : The glass will be fitted with in the fitted timber window frame. The glass has been added in order for air circulation with in the building.
7
Timber Bow String Truss: The truss is the main internal structure which will be used in the interior of the urban. This will be the main support for the green roof. The truss will be placed on top of the main timber wall. As a result, the load of the roof will be pass from the roof the exterior wall.
Beside providing comforting to the interior space, roof will be used by the drone station, where the station will be inserted through the roof structure. As a result, the drone station has staircase which allows the drone operator to actually climb up the drone station. As a result, the green roof, that has been used to will allow the operator to walk on it comfortable in the roof. As a result, if the operator has to ever go to the charging station for any technical difficulties they will be able to use the greenery to walk on it. Furthermore, different material could have been with in the roof. However, the reason for choosing the green roof was to allow the user to not sleep off the roof.
Stale Air Extractions: The stale air extraction is the negative air that are been given off by the plant as well as by the user it will be equalised by opening the roof window. If the air is been kept inside the farm, it will create uncomfortable space for the user to stay in.
If the roof was made out of plain glass and steel than it would have cause the people to fall the roof. Due to safety and sustainability reason green roof has been chosen.
Fresh Air Insertion: Fresh air will be inserted with in the air building by also using of the same window that has been used to extract stale air out of the building. The purpose of insertion fresh air into the farm in order to allow the user to be able feel comfortable in the indoor space. How Does Green Roof Contribute To Environmental Comfort ? The green roof was used in order to make the farm more sustainable farm . Adding the green roof the interior space will benefit from it. This is because, the space the material used inside the green roof will be ale to store the heat from the sun and will later on be release in to the interior space.

Timber Frame Floor Detail: The detail drawing of the timber frame wall demonstrates how the floor is connected to the main floor. The drawing also demonstrates the insulation as well as the inner internal structure.
Substrate Roof :Non-Accessed Extensive Green Roofs Green roof are designed for several purposes and they also come in different types of roof which allows the roof to be different. This is because the roof has its own purposes and programme to serve. This activities takes place by placing a lot of element. Substrate green roofs are designed to be comparatively lightweight, work towards providing some storm water mitigation and support a wide variety of low maintenance plant species which are generally self-sustaining, and wind, frost and drought tolerant. They are primarily used for their ecological benefits and not intended for general access or for leisure purposes.
Within my urban design I will be using similar technique which will demonstrate the materiality as well as the joint that will be holding the urban farm together.
Beside that it will also show how the re-enforcing concrete footing will be place in order to actually take the load through out the design. Moreover, the drawing also demonstrates in context to he surroundings how the building high the building will be in comparison to the foundation and also aswell as to the ground.

Furthermore, using the technique of showing the insulation of the inside of the wall I will also be demonstrating those joint of the glass seats in between the mullion and the frames.
Foundation Detail: The foundation of this detail shows how the building will sit in the foundation and as well as the ground.

Slanted Roof And The Gutter Structure: The detail of the slanted fit with in my design it shows how the roof will sit on top of main structure. But also the roof is showing the main services that has been carried out through out the roof. As a result, when applying the similar idea of to my green roof I will be focussing on the also adding like gutter services which is really important. As a result this will allow the water from the roof to be extracted which will then be drained out to the main sewerage line and will take the rain water off the street.
Slanted Roof : The slanted roof detail will be used with my design where I will be demonstration how the insulation and as well as how the glass be placed in between two of the wood frame. As a result, using the detail, I will be able to demonstrate how the people will be will be also environmentally feel comfortable. This is because the cavity inside the wall will help keep the users inside warm. The type of insulation will also depend on the type of interior environmental effect that are been picked for the building type.
It is a combination of substrate green roof with a solar PV array where the substrate and vegetation provide the ballast for the installation. The mounting system raises the modules above the substrate to allow liberal growing room for the plants, which are specified explicitly so that their maximum height does not block light to the array that would otherwise reduce the efficiency of the panels. The green roof will be also considering and deal with all this major matters. This will be considered with in the design. This is because it will allow the roof cool down the interior space during summer time. >Storm Water Management > Improving Air Quality of Local Surroundings > Urban Heat Island Effect Storm Water Management Green roofs are one method of retaining rainwater by inception storage in the substrate, drainage/reservoir board and plants. This water is then used by the vegetation or evaporates back into the atmosphere.
Green roof : The slanted roof structure is a green roof which will be in my design. Secondly, the roof will also have internal structure drawing as well as it will have columns demonstrating how it connects the foundation.
Improving Air Quality of Local Surroundings Localised air quality is improved as the vegetation assists in reducing both gaseous pollutants and dust particles by removing a proportion of them from the immediate environment, effectively purifying the air. Urban Heat Island Effect The urban heat island effect is reduced because the substrate of a green roof will absorb some of this heat and the natural evaporation of water from both the plants and soil helps to cool and humidify the air, thus lowering the ambient air temperature.
Advantage Of Green Roof > The enhanced thermal performance provided by a green roof provides a more balanced temperature within the building. >This reduces heating costs in the winter and air conditioning expenses during the summer. > The main reduction in lifecycle costs comes from the green roof providing protection from the damaging effects of the weather, which effectively ‘ages’ the waterproofing, thus the time span between replacement is extended significantly, and in many cases replacement will become unnecessary. > In large construction projects a green roof can mean that storm water holding tanks are reduced in size or no longer required, as the roof itself will retain a proportion of the rainfall. > Increases Property Value Organics Roofs.(2020.Biosolar Green Roofs-Organic Roofs.[online]Avaiable at:https://www. citethisforme.com/ Bauder.co.uk.(2020).Flat Roof Systems Design & Construction-Bauder.[online] Available at: https://www.citethisforme.com/

The roof structure has been designed in order to carry out environmental comfort beside providing the shelter to the urban farm. The window frame has been placed in between in order to take out the all the of the urban farm which will be produced by the users aswell as the plants.
Roof Opening: Beside, the roof opening being designed for the drone programme. Secondly, the insertion of the roof opening was to extract stale air out of the building.
The insertion and the extract out of the farm will be also be taken out through the timber bow string trusses. The space in between each truss will be they space will be utilised and way which the air will use in order to be extracted or for insertion.
The windows has been placed through out the entire building in order to bring fresh air in to the building. Each floor has been designed with windows opening in order to allow the users.
Main Opening
The purpose of having this large window is to take out all the stale air out of the building that will be produced by the internal environment. The purpose of developing the windows in order to make the internal space more comfortable and inhabitable.

Source For Artificial Light
Tectonic Moment : The tectonic moment was one of the way of bring natural light with in to the farm. As a result, this will highlight the middle part of the building.
East Cross Section Cut East Cross section demonstrates how the building will using the artificial light that will be brought by using the solar panel that is been placed on the green roof top. The electricity brought by the solar panel will used across the planting pot floor as well as the marsh land. Even though large windows are been placed across the entire floor. During different time of the day when sun height changes the floor above will cover up the internal space. As a result, artificial light will be need in order for the user to be able to see through the internal space.
The surrounding building will be covering farm. As a result, the internal space will be needing of lighting. The sun will not always be able to reach the internal space.
The light that will be used within the vertical farming, will also be effecting the tectonic moment. This is because the light will be pushed out of the space. eventually the tectonic moment will be light up.
As a result, to enhance the internal space, the farm will be using the solar panel the store energy from the sun will equally distributed across the entire building as light source . As result, this will way the design becomes much more sustainable and consider about not polluting the environment.
North Cross Section Cut Artificial Light: The concept of adding artificial light was to add more luminosity in to the interior spatial space at different type of the day when there is not sunlight. Secondly, in order to that solar panel will be added. As a result the source of bringing artificial will become more sustainable by storing sunlight and using them when its needed within the farm.
North side of the building will not be getting a lot of light in to the internal through the facade of the farm. As a result, artificial light will be provided in order ton enhance the luminosity of the internal space and also the light will be used to control the internal temperature.

The construction detail of the urban farm of the exterior wall demonstrates and what kind of materiality will be used through out the construction of the wall. The wall will consider major environmental matters, which are done in order to comfort the user of the urban farm.
Environmental Comfort :Acoustic The visual of the ground floor demonstrate how the sound produced by the user will be spread out through out the tectonic, the void which is another way of diffusing the sound out of the area where people will be gathering.
Glass: The glass will be fitted through the timber frame. To secure the glass in the place, mullion will be used where two piece of welded metal will be drilled with in the frame. Furthermore, the glass will be fitted with in the gap.
Timber Wall cladding: The timber wall was designed in order to give an organic aesthetic from he outside as well as from the inside. In terms of environmental comfort, timber has very good heat resistance. Therefore, the cladding will allow to create a comfortable space.
Polished Concrete : The polished concrete will be used over the footing. The polished concrete will be used in order to prevent any leaking in to the building. Concrete Footing: The footing will be made out of rebar reinforcement that has been poured into an excavated trench. The reason for adding footings is to support the foundation and prevent settling. A footing is placed below the main floor, which will be polished concrete.
Foundation in ration to the ground: In order to make the foundation stable, the base of the design will consist of I beams. As a result, the load of the people and the furniture will spread out through out the base which are the steel I beams. How does the foundation floor response to flooding ? Since the building is located right next to the canal. Therefore, the chances are higher for the water to get in to the ground floor. So the prevent that from happening the building is lifted up by 0.6 m above the ground level which is 2m deep.
Ground Floor ( Staircase Farming ): The internal materiality chosen for the urban farm was done according to the selective users that are going to be using this space. The space will not consist of any insulation on the floor the external wall cladding will be holding all the heat back in the building. Having a floor insulation would have caused damage to the plant that are growing on to the ground floor. Since the floor is a polished concrete floor it will be and the staircase above are wood which going to warm up the staircase farming which will effect the root and could cause great loss to the urban farm.
Polished Concrete The staircase has been designed from both side in order create a auditorium in the middle of the two space which will allow the people of the farm to actually, use the space where they carry out lectures when there is huge group people coming to learn about harvesting fresh fruits and vegetables.
The steps going up and down will be will effecting the sound in a good way. This is because The sound will reflect from each space an use the tectonic moment which is the hollow space with in the building and the sound will start fading before reaching to the floor above the ground level.

Insulation: The floor will be paced on top of the insulation, in order to reduce the sound of the footstep from upper floor to the ground floor. This is because the ground floor consists of huge gathering place which might effect the users.
Water System: The water system has been placed with in the floor slab. It has been placed right under the concrete floor. This is because the sub floor with in the water pipes will give out heat. Beside that it will also give the right amount of heat to the plants, which will allow the plants produce photosynthesises . Floor Gaskets: The small floor gaskets has been places in between the floor in order to allow the user .
Soil
In order for the plant to grow further and keep on producing fruits and vegetable The farm will be using the water system. There wont be any huge effect or damage on the roots of the plants, this is because it has a thick concrete slab has been placed on top which will maximise the and only enough heat which will fasten the process of photosynthesis.
The pipes located under the planting pots wont get as much heat as where there is no obstruction the pathway created of the users will be bale to feel heat through out the space.
Grass
In response to the current covid 19. The farm has considered to maintain minimum gap distance from each other. Since the farm is the place where people should be meeting up and collaborate with each other. This will change over the time, this is because the farm has deliberately added the planting pods by maintaining the distance this way when the users are utilising the space for harvesting they will be away from each other. Therefore, there wont be any further issue of contracting any deadly virus if the distance are been maintained.

Vegetation : The vegetation will be plant in to the soil, where the soil will be placed on to the boxes. These vegetation will be bale to access and they will be able to collect the fresh vegetables that will be grown.
Soil : The soil will be one of the layer that will be placed on top of the boxes. As a result, seed will be planted on to the soil. As a result, when the user will learn about the plants and when they start take caring of the plant and water is provided on time. As a result, this will allow the plants to grow adn produce fruits and vegetable for the retail programme.
Grass Floor: The grass floor will use similar technique , on top of the polished floor concrete, they will be layering the soil, then grass will be planted.
Water Extraction Gutter: The gutter has been designed and has been placed outside of the floor in order to extract water that will be used to water the grass in order to keep them alive. Over flow of the water will be extracted out of the floor through the gutter pipe which will be inserted through the soil.
Welded Gasket : The welded gasket is a pocket joint made out of steel and it will joined under the floor and to the top of the floor in order to ad more structural element in order to hold the floor on place.
Insulation : The insulation will be different from the other floor, this is because the plants growing on above the concrete floor will be effect in greater amount than the other floor. Therefore, to reduce the heat produced by water pipes,a layer of concrete has been placed which will only transfer minimum heat to the floor, which will be enough to produce photosynthesis.
Concrete These two different construction detail of the floor demonstrates how different techniques has been used in order to keep the plants safe as well provide comfortable environment. Planting Plot floor uses the water pipes in order to fasten the process of the photosynthesis. But keep that in mind having hot water pipes too close to the water could also effect the roots of the plants. Therefore, the water pipes has been placed beneath the concrete slab, that way the heat will be much more less that as it was placed in between the concrete slab. Furthermore, the water pipes were also used to warm up the interior space of the. As a result, when the users
The floor detail is been slightly changed based on the elements that has been laid out on top of the floor. The reason for removing the pipes one layer down. This was done in order to allow the people stop effect the roots of the grass that has been laid on top of the floor. Furthermore, the reason for using the pipes was also to produce minimum heat to living plants above the floor so they can produce photosynthesis as well as keep the interior warm so the user feel

The gap between each of the boxes has been kept between 1 m which will allow the Therefore, there wont be any further issue of contracting any deadly virus if the distance are been maintained. The polished concrete floor has been added in order for the sound to reflect and that will lead the light to used empty space between the vertical farming box.
Soil
Grass
The sound produced by the users through out the march land will through the 1 metre gap that has been made of the vertical farm box, it will disappear through out the tectonic moment since the tectonic moment is empty void used to go from one side of the farm to another the sound will fade away.
Environmental Comfort :Acoustic The vertical farming box has been laid out by spacing 1m gap in between each other. As a result, the sound will bounce from the concrete floor on top and will and leave through the vertical farming box. Moreover, the concrete floor used is been used to stop the sound and the foot step of the people from reach to each space.
Heating System Using Water Pipes : The water pipes has been used in order to give out heat to the floor above. As a result, this will allow the user to feel comfortable because of the minimum room temperature.

Grass : The grass has been placed through out the entire roof. The roof has been covered through out the structure in order to for environmental comfort. 1
Soil: The soil is the element will be used in order to allow the plants to grow on the roof. The soil is another insulation that will act in favour of environmental comfort of the interior space.
2
Pitch Point : The pitch point has been added through out the entire structure. The pitch point will be only added on each corner of the point. As a result, the structure will easily seat on the top of the structure. The pitch point will be place in to the pocket which will be made of on the cladding wall.

Gutter : The gutter will be placed in both side of the building, the purpose of the gutter was to take out all the stale water from the roof . The way the gutter has was to also take out access water that will be might be overflowing if it heavily rains. That time the gutter will be in use to extract that access water of the green roof .
The roof structure has been designed in order to carry out environmental comfort beside providing the shelter to the urban farm. The window frame has been placed in between in order to take out the all the of the urban farm which will be produced by the users aswell as the plants.

Stale Air Extractions: The stale air extraction is the negative air that are been given off by the plant as well as by the user it will be equalised by opening the roof window. If the air is been kept inside the farm, it will create uncomfortable space for the user to stay in. Fresh Air Insertion: Fresh air will be inserted with in the air building by also using of the same window that has been used to extract stale air out of the building. The purpose of insertion fresh air into the farm in order to allow the user to be able feel comfortable in the indoor space.
Insulation: The insulation will be thin plywood that will be run across the structure and this is because the plywood is very easy to bend. Therefore, it will be easier to bend the plywood sheet according to the roof structure. Secondly, the insulation has been added in order to keep the heat gain from the sun to be stored since the plywood has a good heat resistance, it will realise the heat when the temperature of the interior cools down.

The green roof has been designed in order to provide indoor environmental comfort to the users. However, since e the roof consist of living plants soil is been used in order for the plants to carry on growing. But the soil acts as an sponge meaning that if it rains, the rains soil will absorb the rain water, (excess water on to the roof could not only make the roof heavier, it will also make kill the greenery). The rule of the gutter is to extract those extract the stale water that will trapped with in the green roof. As a result, the greenary on the roof top will not be effected if the gutter works.
How Does Green Roof Contribute To Environmental Comfort ?
Timber Timber Beam : Timber beam has been added horizontally. The user has been added through out the in order to structure support the green roof, without the green roof
The green roof was used in order to make the farm more sustainable farm . Adding the green roof the interior space will benefit from it. This is because, the space the material used inside the green roof will be ale to store the heat from the sun and will later on be release in to the interior space.
Environmental Comfort : Acoustic Timber Bottom Chord: Timber bottom chord is one of the main support out of the entire structure. This is because the timber span will be spread vertically through out the entire roof structure, which will be connecting all the web which will made the complete truss and structurally stable.

Outter Outlet : The outer outlet will be made out steel. The purpose of this part with in the gutter is to provide extended stretched that will hold the gutter other part in place.
2
Rain Water : The rain water will be collected by the gutter which has a void in the middle of the structure. As a result, when it rain the water will be carried out of the building. As a result, this will prevent the to create any damage to the farm.
3
Spike Furrule: The spike furrule is another part of the structure element that is been extended out of the void where the water should be collected. This will be used in order to hang the gutter on to the building and to secure it to the structure of the building bolts will be drilled in.
4
Gutter: The gutter is where a hollow void has been made where the rain water will be collected through out the structure, which will be pass down to the water pipes which will take the water to the ground.
5
Bracket Hanger: The bracket hanger has been used under the gutter structure in order to join the gutter to the end gap.
7
Puffin: Puffin is a cap that has been used through out the entire gutter structure, that is been use to cover up the internal structure of the gutter out of the users view.

Air Latch: Air latch is the space is the space of the timber window frame. When the wind is closed that where that’s where the window sits. The space keeps all the dust and water away from getting in to the building.
Timber Window Frame : The timber window fame is the entire frame that will hold each of the windows on place it also consist of thresh holds that keeps the bad weather from getting in side the farm.
6
The insertion and the extract out of the farm will be also be taken out through the timber bow string trusses. The space in between each truss will be they space will be utilised and way which the air will use in order to be extracted or for insertion. Aluminium
Roof Window: The roof window has been made in order to allow the air inside the farm . This way the interior space will be environmentally okay to be used by the user otherwise it might create a very unconformable space.

Sound Extracted Through Roof Window
Since the farm will be used by the public as a result. As a result, a lot of sound will be produced through out the space. Therefore the truss design for the green roof has been used in order to take out the sound of the building. Beside that, the open window will also help reduce the sound of the with in the farm.
