They are willing to share their story if you are willing to hear it. Without asking they are answering the unspoken word. In that moment the conversation I had with all the men, women, children had a different tone to it. They told me how they lived, where they came from, what they believed in, if they were happy or sad, if they cared or how much they didn't care, whether they were strong or weak, how they wanted to become visible and how they were comfortable waiting in the shadows, how they wanted to be understood or how misunderstood they were. They spoke to me in words that shook my entire existence.
In that moment I started seeing these strangers as mirrors; mirrors that not only I could see but everyone around me could look into as well. The only difference was the reflection of these mirrors and how the reflection was perceived.
