Iowa Atheists and Freethinkers, and the Central and Eastern Iowa Coalition of Reason—will be hosting a “Raising Secular Kids in a Religious World” workshop. The event—co-sponsored by Iowa Atheists and Freethinkers—is scheduled to take place at Indian Creek Nature Center, 5300 Otis Rd. in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The workshop is designed to empower secular parents to raise ethical, caring, confident kids without religion.
