AZUFEST is an event for people to come together as one to appreciate both homegrown and regional Hip-Hop and R&B tracks by Asians supported by National Arts Council. The Greek name ultimately derived from the Phoenician word azu, which means “east”, and the Akkadi an word azu which means “to go out, to rise. ” In reference to the sun, Asia would then mean “the land of the sunrise. ”
