AUDITORIUM DESIGN

(ACADEMIC PROJECT SEM. - VI)

Conceived as a form of expressing the beauty of art forms, the Auditorium came into being to represent a recreational space where students can express through dance, music, drama and other mediums of communica tion which helps in their holistic development.

The design focuses to make an integrated space that captures the “inbetween spaces” and creates architecture where interior and landscape designs merge. The multipurpose building has an auditorium with a seating capacity of 200 people along with a restaurant, shops and an open air theatre.

The design also focuses on the climatic and traditional aspect of the location. Louvers are used as a medium to provide optimum light and ventilation to the indoor spaces while blocking the harsh rays of the sun.

2.SOLACE

(ACADEMIC PROJECT SEM. - V)

The main idea of the project is to create the open and continuous space. The clubhouse is designed to serve as a way to combine circulation, floor plan, activities and landscape that can lead visitor from ground level along the way to the gym, banquet hall and guest rooms on the upper floors.

Each of these platforms are provided with adequate space that can change to fit the need for several functions such as relaxing space, working area or banquet halls.

On the other hand it forms a retreat where people can disconnect from their busy daily lives and enjoy tranquillity and relaxation. It also offers excitement and activity, alongside opportunities to escape and explore.

The clubhouse consists of different functional areas such as Kitchen, cafeteria and bar sit together with the view of a swimming pool.

3.SATELLITE BUS TERMINAL

(ACADEMIC PROJECT SEM. - VII)

In order to cater the needs of rising tourism and travelling, traffic and congestion Issues and to improve Transport infrastructure four satellite bus terminals are proposed to decentralise the traffic load.

The site proposed for the project is earmarked along the Kota-Jaipur Highway in Shivdaspura having access from the southern part of the ring road. The bus terminal connects the buses of the Kota, Sikar, Agra, and Delhi routes. The design primarily focuses on segregating the circulation yet connecting them in order to generate smooth pedestrian and vehicular movement.

The entries and exits in the bus terminal are placed in a way that it can speed up the pedestrian and vehicular movement. Different routes for feeder buses are also provided to avoid traffic congestion.

NATURE’S SOLITUDNAL AREA

The origin is boundless. Unbounding our visions of traditional architecture. Abstractions and arguments in order to create something neutral which modestly shares different ideas, cultures and notions. To create a profound structure free from hierarchial differences of architecture with no virtual boundries to divide us ,we tried to create a subtle transition of two cultures at a centralised point . Creating cynosure to all entities , away from the confines of urban enclosure where people could meet and mix experiences. Designing for a social impact on bounded cultures ,which goes beyond various connotations to create an intervention where the invisible joins the visible , coming on to the surface. Rendering nature with an allocated space amid lucrative landscape to dis connect us , from the society i.e doesn’t limitise our sense of freedom or our sense of enclosure .To baffle our limitless minds , that’s our aim and concept.

In order to flourish the tourism and bring in a change in the cultural difference of Zambia and Zimbabwe , we aimed at creating a visitors centre on the deep tranches of Victoria falls .We took a sphericon spiral shape as a base design which spans over the entire valley balanced in a harmonious way and still contrasting it. Could nature , sky and earth be combing at a point? In order to capture that spark of possibility and go beyond the general human peripheral vision we created a magnifying lens floor through which one could see the bottomless pit up close. The sprawling sitting area open to sky with the view of Victoria falls adds up to the overall aesthetics of the place. The greatest reward is peace of mind in serene bliss of nature thus we’ve given an open enclosure on the bottom most level where one
