Play of light inside a social node
The sectional scheme makes multiple programs to come together encouraging the sharing of information within the disciplines. The outer bars comprise of the academic programs whereas the internal ones comprise of all the shared social activities like library, computer labs, eateries, etc. Considering the hot & dry climate of Dubai, the courtyards are made compact to ensure self shading.
Keeping in mind the harsh hot climate of Dubai the elevation of the building was designed mainly of bigger interactive voids and thinner strips of light to have a diffused ambient light inside. The stone strips provide contrast with the bright voids highlighting the interactive nodes and visually connects the surroundings with the school campus.

Façade scheme neutrally reflects the surrounding sky & nature, while connecting the working environment with the outside world.
The peepal leaves form the central theme that connects all the branches of the IT complex together. A neutral pallet of materials and occasional use of accent colours adds to the vibrancy of the interior work environment,

OPTION 1
OPTION 2
In Kolkata, the traditional housing is characterized by courtyards, shared balconies, an interesting relationship with the inside & outside
The objective of the proposed housing is to create a community of super luxury large size residences, unique in its appearance with villa like feeling that generally a high density development of this scale may not be able to provide.
