We hope you are all doing well as we bid summer adieu and look forward to cooler temperatures and some much-needed rain. We're excited to share news about two Oak Ridge High School graduates: lan Book, who recently joined the National Football League, and Bryce Mefford, who swam in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and finished fourth in the world in the 200-meter backstroke event. Bill Romanelli writes about these hometown heroes on page 26. We wish them the best of luck as they launch their exciting careers.
