Sacramento Home Magazine proudly presents the Spring 2020 issue. In this issue, our editor and writers spoke with designers and homeowners whose theme is family living. It soon became apparent: Kids or no kids, everyone can have a beautiful home.
Interior designer Katrina Stumbos shares that philosophy. She teaches her own two children that “everything has a place.” And she thinks kids deserve to grow up surrounded by beauty. “There’s a lot of chaos in the world,” says Stumbos, who shares her daughter Gisele’s stunning pink-and-gold nursery with us in this issue. “Home should be a sanctuary for them—a place that’s not chaotic, with lots of soft textures so they feel comfortable. I don’t think it’s enough to just give your child a bed.”
