All lost property needs to be cleared on Wednesday 07 December as all items will simply be put into Second Hand to be sold from there. Please assist us in getting the school ready for a deep clean over the holiday period, something we can only do if the school is cleared of things belonging to the children.

Grade 6 Farewell at 18:00-21:00 in the School Hall This event is for the Grade 6 children and their parents only. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate siblings or grandparents. This is a tradition that has been practised for many years in the Primary School and celebrates the end of an era for the children and their rite of passage into High School. Library Books All library books must be returned to the Primary School Library by 02 December 2016. As it is the end of the year, the cost of any book not returned will be added to the fees account. All learners with outstanding library books have received letters in this regard. Expectations for the Last Week of Term: The last month of the year is always hectic and we apologize to parents who were hoping for last-minute interviews or for whom exit interviews have not been arranged and welcome parents to contact us on 8th December

PRE – PRIMARY SCHOOL Nativity This is a reminder to our Grade R parents that the Nativity Play is on Wednesday 30 November. Please drop your children outside the Chapel at 17:00. Feel free to have a cup of tea or coffee and a snack while your children get ready for the play. We do not require parental help in dressing the children in the allocated classrooms and would prefer you to be surprised by their lovely costumes. Remember that this is a religious ceremony and no photographs will be allowed during the performance. There will be a chance at the end of the show for parents to take a photograph of their child where they are seated. A DVD is being made and will be handed out to the children in the New Year. Christmas Party The children received an invitation last week to our little Christmas party in the PrePrimary School on 6 December. Library Please return any outstanding library books.

FROM THE SPORTS DESK Sports Clinic Please refer to the pamphlet included in the hardcopy of this week’s newsletter for information on the December Holiday Sports Clinic.
