Introduction At some point in the course of history, humans have done an incredible job of isolating themselves from others and the rest of creation. And the connection to Source and the rest of creation is a huge part of our nature, which gives us direct access to our most precious gifts, abilities and talents. Energy Healing is one of those natural gifts: it is an ability that comes naturally and a talent that we can further develop to heal ourselves and to facilitate the selfhealing of others. If we go back in human history, Energy Healing is the oldest approach to wellbeing that has ever existed. If you think about it, the most primary intuitive impulse after any type of injury, accident or wrong feeling, is to simply place our hands on the affected area to feel better and decrease pain. This human capacity is an extraordinary gift and very powerful, which plays a crucial role in our lives to keep us physically healthy and emotionally balanced.

CHAPTER 1

Understanding the Human Energy System Ancient Eastern cultures have developed complex healing methods stating that the human energy field exists. Today these methods are still being used because of their efficiency and ability to prove such statements. For that reason, science began studying these concepts more closely in the last few decades. Modern bioenergy has been one of the most important links in this process, exposing hard evidence, theories, and extensive research of great validity to the scientific community * [1] . Today many researchers claim that these theories are legitimate and affirm that the human energy fields are made up of light *[2] . This light runs in closed circuits (energy channels) creating different frequency vibrations, which project outward and take shape in physical reality. The human eye perceives this as shapes and colors * [3] . When this light is processed by the energy centers, according to its concentration, it undergoes changes in its patterns of vibration, making subtle energy transform into physiological vital energy, even changing its density. This is how humans perceive matter in its various forms. You need a sophisticated system to decode these patterns of vibration, and we all have it because it’s inherent in the individual human consciousness. *[1] Energy medicine by James L. Oshman Ph. D. *[2] Heart Math Institute, The Energetic Heart, The Appreciative Heart *[3] Wheels of Light, Appendix, The Rolf Study, p. 247258

What is energy healing? There is an energetic field that permeates and surrounds our bodies; by improving the flow of energy in that field we can optimize the selfhealing capacity of the body. Scientists describe this phenomenon as follows: ..."The energy body field is the sum of the electric and magnetic interactions caused by the neurological activity of the nervous system. [...] Although its strength decreases with distance from the physical body, its magnitude extends beyond our skin"... * [4]. Scientific studies have been done to measure this energy field, which has been proven to vary in length according to each individual * [5] . Energy Healing promotes health by enhancing energy flow and correcting imbalances in the human energy field.

It is remarkable to see how people are resonating more and more with these ancient understandings of energy healing. Even scientists are showing interest in this matter, due to the great benefits and results that these practices and approach to health have been generating throughout the world in the last decade. It is known that “hands on” bioenergy therapies have been used all throughout time in numerous cultures. However, there was a point where modern society invalidated its importance and people stepped away from these valuable and natural gifts. It also seems that recently this gift has been rediscovered and formulated into many different healing techniques that are accessible to people all over the world. There are also more and more people who are becoming aware of their own healing gifts, creating an amazing movement that greatly benefits global health. Ultimately, the reason why all healing involves energy is because everything is 2 energy. Remember Einstein's equation: e= m.c , energy is the product of the mass of an object and the square on the light speed. The whole of creation is composed of patterns of energy that influence us in a physical, mental, emotional, and at much higher levels. Most healing modalities are focused either on the physical or mental and emotional levels of our lives, and that approach have a missing link: the recognition of a deeper underlying energy that affects us at all levels. True energy healing works purely with the energetic level of our being, and that is the holistic approach to ultimate health. Energy healing is the missing piece on the holistic health puzzle. Holistic health is not complete until you take care of your energy. It is important to address the physical, mental, and emotional levels when a health condition, disturbance, limitation, unbalance or illness arises. However, energy All rights reserved Sacred Seal® 2015 Energy Healing manage Stress Anxiety and Pain Page 6

healing complements and supports all other healing modalities, because it addresses the energy from which our bodies, mind, and emotions are composed. *[4] Fritz Albert Popp biophotons. *[5] Heartmath.org "The Energetic Heart is Unfolding"

Energy Healing as Part of Energy Medicine Energy healing involves the conscious use of our bioenergy field, and its direct relationship with the unified universal energy field *[6] to which we all belong. This universal energy field directly affects everything around us. There are numerous resources by means of which human beings have developed the ability to give rise to such energy and manifest it in vibrational patterns suitable for generating harmony. As far as we know, a human body only can easily generate those patterns. However, energy healing is part of the broad field of "Energy Medicine"; the use of herbs, crystals or sound are examples of some resources that are used in energy medicine because they contain "vibrational patterns" that influence the dynamics of human physiology. Nonetheless, it does not take more than the interaction of two polarities in a purely energetic level: for example the palms of our hands. *[6] “The Divine Matrix”, Gregg Braden “Hands of Light “by Barbara Brennan “Vibrational Medicine” by Richard Gerber, MD “Energy Medicine” by James Oschman “Wheels of Light” by Rosalyn Bruyere

CHAPTER 2 Knowing Stress What are stress and anxiety? Stress is a natural and automatic reaction of our nervous system to situations we perceive as threatening or challenging. This perception of reality can be chronic, lowering tolerance levels, leading to more frequent and severe negative emotions, to the point that our nervous system can become negatively saturated, causing physiological dysfunctions that affect more than the physical body. In other words, the intense negative impact caused by stress, manifests in various areas of our lives at physical levels, and emotional levels in relationships with other beings, while also creating many mental dysfunctions. Without a doubt, we know everything is impermanent. We are exposed to constant changes, and oftentimes we enter into them unconsciously; totally unaware of the changes. This sometimes creates stress. It is important to understand that beyond being exposed to large amounts of stimuli, which generate stress, it is possible to live a balanced and fulfilling life, if we know how to handle stress. Anxiety, on the other hand, along with fear, anger, sadness, or happiness, has an important function that is related to survival. All of them belong to a system of stimuli that every human being has been exposed to from the beginning of mankind, to preserve our physical integrity. Usually people believe that stress and anxiety are the result of external causes, however it is our natural reaction to integrate the events of our environment and our responses to those events in psychological, emotional and physical form. To break the patterns that generate excessive stress, it is important to recognize when stress levels increase; the latter can be easily accomplished by observing what the circumstances and the stimuli that triggered them are. All rights reserved Sacred Seal® 2015 Energy Healing manage Stress Anxiety and Pain Page 8

What are the symptoms? Manifestations of anxiety and stress can be experienced at any level of our existence. Emotional : irritability, frustration, anger, resentment, desire to mourn, helplessness, confusion, despair, discomfort, distress, etc. Mind : Thoughts of selfcriticism, difficulty concentrating, trouble making decisions, forgetfulness, constant recreation of the past, worry about the future, excessive fear of failure, repeated and compulsive thoughts. Behavior : development of stuttering, speech difficulty, nervous laughter, uncontrolled temper, mandibular pressure, increased susceptibility to accidents, discourteous, disrespectful, increased consumption of tobacco, drugs, food, alcohol, etc. Physical : muscle contraction, back problems, cold sweaty hands, allergies , infections, chronic fatigue, hyperventilation or fatigue, palpitations, dizziness, dry mouth and tremors. It is important to note that prolonged stress and anxiety in our physical body, may culminate in diseases of all kinds, both functionally and infectious.

How to identify the true source of excessive stress and anxiety disorders? This is one of the most difficult tasks because it is very common in us (humans) to overlook behaviors that are deeply rooted in our beliefs. Those beliefs generate patterns of thoughts that lead us to feeling and perceiving life in a limited way, which creates excessive stress and many anxiety disorders throughout our lives. The true source of these disorders is hidden behind the habits, attitudes and excuses we normally have for each negative action or perception of reality. When repeated consistently, they generate a negative inertia in our system of behaviors and thoughts, causing dysfunctions that culminate in disease. Jack Canfiled, author of “Chicken Soup for Your Soul”, says, “If there is conflict in your life, either you change your actions or your beliefs…” All rights reserved Sacred Seal® 2015 Energy Healing manage Stress Anxiety and Pain Page 9

How excessive stress and anxiety disorders occurs Stress occurs as a result of an accumulation of events that happen at different levels of our being. It is our reaction to external stimuli and experiences we live through, combined with the processes of thought and perception related to these events and experiences. It is our own interpretation of reality, which generates a negative enhancement to stressors, even more than the situations or events that we face daily. It’s our own perspective (often unrealistic) which induces us to have negative thoughts, which in turn amplify and enhance our stress levels. Cyclical, negatively charged thinking patterns, sustained over time, are those that become harmful to our nervous system and culminate in anxiety and panic attacks. These points will be accompanied by the health status of each person as well as the hygiene, physical and nutritional relationship they have with their bodies (e.g., a person with poor eating habits and a lack of proper rest and physical activity, most likely does not have the necessary tools to deal with stress). In other words, what affects us at an emotional level (thoughts), will eventually be reflected at the molecular level (physical body).

What is the solution? The ideal way to live a full and healthy life, beyond the circumstances of everyday life, is to keep a balance between the different areas of our lives (wheel example). That is, be satisfied with our personal journey, maintain a healthy diet, try to have a minimum of physical activity, generating an adequate mental space for work and study, making time for leisure and fun, and having a healthy social life. Questions that help us identify our bad habits 1. Are there many bad things that are happening to me lately? 2. Do I rationalize my stress as a result of passing things that have happened in my life? 3. Do I make others or external circumstances responsible for my stress? 4. Do I identify my stress as part of my job, academic life, or simply think of it as part of my character? 5. Do I classify stress as something ordinary? All rights reserved Sacred Seal® 2015 Energy Healing manage Stress Anxiety and Pain Page 10

Important note : These questions are not meant to make us feel guilty or like life is punishing us. They are formulated to help us understand our mindset and what areas we can work so we can make improvements. In the spiritual world THERE IS NO PUNISHMENT, BLAME, OR GUILT . Apparent “ bad things ” are lessons for us to learn and overcome in order to grow! Surrender to what is and living in the present moment are keys to learn those lessons so we can move forward in life. How to assess the evolution of your work to decrease the states of stress and anxiety We invite you to keep a journal to write down the things that cause you stress. Writing about things that trigger feelings of anxiety and stress, and your reaction to them, you will be able to see your behavior patterns clearly from a more conscious perspective. This is necessary in order to make the improvements we desire and for taking responsibility for our lives. For example: What was the cause of stress? How did it make me feel physically and emotionally? What was my response or reaction to stress? What was the result of my reaction? What did I do to feel better? What I can do to improve next time?

CHAPTER 3 Bioenergetic Techniques for Stress and Anxiety

Mental Purification Technique to Detox Our Nervous System Symbol The image that follows will be used in our first technique. This is a graphical representation of emptiness and wholeness together. This time we will use it to create an image in our mind where we can draw attention and generate a neutral space, full of acceptance and new possibilities. It is an accepted principle that nothing is permanent. Then we’ll develop a special technique, which is considered an exercise for purification, where again we contact directly with the infinite possibilities of our inner power; enabling us to "reorganize" our beliefs and emotional states. We do this in order to reprogram ourselves at the various levels (are as) of our life.

Mental Purification to Detox Our Nervous System Technique This image will be used on this technique. It’s a graphic representation of Emptiness and Wholeness to create an image in our minds where we can draw our attention and generate a new space, full of acceptance and new possibilities. Part 1 Mental Freedom 1. Sitting up with your spine straight and dropping your shoulders; place hands on your knees. 2. Facing hands at chest high in Gassho Meiso (prayer position). 3. Place the symbol in front of you and concentrate on the symbol. 4. Look deeply at its shape and figure. Connect with it. Absorb the energy of the symbol. Become one with it by contemplating the symbol as you breath. Experience the symbol. 5. Inhale deep through your nose and exhale through your mouth. 6. Mentally visualize the symbol and focus on all mental processes. 7. When thoughts arise, do not fight them. Simply breathe in and out and connect with the symbol. 8. Create a dance between opening and closing your eyes. 9. Open your eyes, look at the symbol, absorb the image, and contemplate it. 10. Close your eyes, visualize the symbol and keep it strong in your mind. Connect with its shape, become its figure, melt into it. 11. Let all thoughts dissolve into the symbol. At this point it’s common to see pictures, colors and other symbols, that brings you back to certain emotions and feelings. They are normal in this process. 12. As we concentrate on the symbol. We begin to use affirmations on those images and colors that appear before us: E.g.: “Here and now, I allow myself to receive all that life has to offer. The space surrounding me has everything that I need to live in peace and harmony. I can accomplish things without anxiety or expectations.” All rights reserved Sacred Seal® 2015 Energy Healing manage Stress Anxiety and Pain Page 14

Part 2 – Solar Plexus Energetically, the Solar Plexus is the area where fears are rooted. It’s necessary to move those energies to get through the negative emotions, physical and mental conditions that have been stored in our system over time. Transmuting the energy of fear and unresolved experiences empower us to reprogram the patterns of our systems, creating newempty spaces of infinite possibilities. 1. Bring both hands to the Solar Plexus high, the sternum at the middle of our chest. 2. Inhale deeply, moving hands an inch or two away from your chest. 3. Holding your breath, as you exhale, move your arms away, to the sides of your body. 4. Inhale and move your hands a few inches from your chest. Hold your breath for a few seconds. 5. Exhale and move your hands completely away from the body, contracting and expanding, contracting and expanding. 6. Inhale, place your hands an inch or two from the chest. Hold your breath for a moment. 7. As you exhale move hands away from the body. 8. Move your arms down and place hands on your thighs and end exercise. 9. Repeat as long as you want. A daily 5 to 15 min practice is recommended. All rights reserved Sacred Seal® 2015 Energy Healing manage Stress Anxiety and Pain Page 15

Part 3 – Protection Mudra Mudra is a simple hand gesture that will help us energetically. We use it as a symbol of refuge and protection. By purifying our system of old patterns, we move to a new space full of uncertainty, which, in turn, generates new fears. For this reason, we use the "mudra of protection" as a symbol of refuge and strength. 1. We face palms of hands, pointing forward, index fingers behind middle fingers and together, pink and ring fingers touching on each other hand. Thumbs open apart. 2. Move hands with mudra up, in front of all energy centers, towards your head and place them on your face. 3. Contemplate the energy coming out your hands. Feel the energy on your forehead, ears, nose and mouth. 4. Move your hands down to your chest holding the gesture. Contemplate the energy, a warm feeling on your chest that expands and relaxes you. 5. Now move hands towards your abdomen. Contemplate the energy and feel rooted, grounded. We feel powerful and good. 6. Focus on your feelings for a moment. 7. We place hands together on our chest, on the prayer position, give thanks for the practice and end.

Abdominal Breathing Technique Hara Kakyu Ho This is a modification of the Japanese technique, which is used to activate the energy of the lower center located in the abdominal area, known as Hara. Breathing is the first resource that our body has to achieve wellbeing and harmony. Through this technique, we decrease the tension of the nervous system, improving the flow of energy in the body. The conscious use of this technique provides instant relaxation, cleanses the mind, helping us to recover all or partial control over the sensations of your body and certain functions. It is also one of the most effective and discreet techniques to use in emergency situations to control anxiety attacks, panic attacks and excessive stress. Hara : Abdomen / Kakyu : Breathing / Ho : Method Part 1 – Finding The Rhythm We use this technique to decrease the tension of our nervous system, improving the energy flow in the body. 1. Sitting with your body as relaxed as possible, place one hand on your chest and the other on your abdomen. 2. Inhale deeply through your nose. Take all the air to your abdomen, keeping your chest and lungs from expanding. The air only feels the abdomen. 3. Hold your breath for a moment. Exhale through your mouth. Empty the abdomen, contracting the area. 4. Once again, inhale deeply through your nose. Take all the air to your abdomen. 5. Once the abdomen is completely filled with air, keep inhaling and fill your lungs expanding your chest. 6. Exhale slowly through mouth and empty your abdomen, contracting this area, followed by emptying your lungs. 7. Repeat this exercise as many times as you want. A 5 to 15 minutes daily practice will be ideal. All rights reserved Sacred Seal® 2015 Energy Healing manage Stress Anxiety and Pain Page 17

Part 2 – Slowing Down The Rhythm 1. Inhale deep through your nose, taking all air through the abdomen. 2. Once the abdomen is completely filled with air, keep inhaling and fill your lungs expanding your chest. 3. Exhale slowly through the mouth, empty the abdomen, contracting the area, then emptying your lungs by contracting your chest. 4. As you practice this breathing technique, be conscious of performing less intensive breaths, slowing down intensity and rhythm until they become subtle. Part 3 – Your Own Rhythm Find your own rhythm without doing it so hard. 1. Breath in through your nose, hold the air for a few seconds and exhale through your mouth. 2. Contemplate how you feel and enjoy the process. 3. Hands together, chest high, prayer position. We thank for the practice and we end. Continue the process as long as necessary. Reiki AntiStress: Exercise for anxiety This is a personal cultivation exercise, focused on relaxation and purification of the nervous system. Daily practice and repetition of this exercise will help you develop a new momentum of harmony and wellbeing in your life. It also provides control over your body, inner strength and a new perspective on your perception of reality. In addition, this exercise can be used as a daily ritual for protection, to avoid stress peaks, anxiety, and discomfort in different kinds of situations. Stage 1: Relaxes your body of tension and stress. Stage 2: Assists you in becoming stronger emotionally, physically and mentally. Stage 3: Helps you cultivate your inner power (strength) and confidence to promote changes of behavior in situations of stress and anxiety. Initial instructions: Standing up with body (spine) straight. Feet flat on the ground or sitting on your knees. Facing both hands at chest height (Gassho Meiso or prayer position). Relaxed breathing. Part 1 1. Straighten your back and drop your shoulders. 2. Place hands on your thighs. Keep a firm stance. 3. Hold your breath for a moment; bring your attention to the Hara Center, below the abdomen. 5. Lower right arm to your thigh to resting position. 6. Repeat same procedure with your left arm. 7. Repeat entire exercise three times. As you practice, pay attention to the energy that flows up and down the spine. Each time you do this exercise, you will feel more and more energy in your body. More healing energy will flow into your body. All rights reserved Sacred Seal® 2015 Energy Healing manage Stress Anxiety and Pain Page 20

Mudra for Stress, Anxiety and Heart Pain This is one of the simplest and most effective antistress, antianxiety and heart pain exercises we’ve ever practiced! As you get used to practicing this, you’ll feel a sense of peace, calmness, as your heartbeat slows down naturally and exterior circumstances or stimuli won’t affect you as much, if at all. The tips of our fingers are connected, through the nervous system, to different organs and parts of our bodies. E.g., the left hand middle finger is connected to our heart. When we touch the tip of our thumb with the tip of other fingers, it produces an electrical connection that promotes selfhealing. Practice this mudra at any time: a. First and last thing in the morning. b. While sitting in a quiet place for about 5 min or longer c. While walking or talking with other people d. At work when you are in a meeting e. During breaks at work, conferences, meetings, etc. f. While waiting in a waiting room, airplane, on the passenger seat of a car, etc. g. Anytime you are not using your hands or fingers to do something specific h. There is no time limit! Procedure : 1. Left hand, tip of middle finger touches the tip of the thumb. Let the other 3 fingers relax in any position desired. 2. Right hand, tip of index finger touches the tip of the thumb. Let the other 3 fingers relax in any position desired. The more often you practice this exercise, the quicker you will feel a sense of calm, peace, and be able to connect with Source!

HeartFocused Breathing Technique for Stress, Anxiety and Depression Management There are several breathing techniques that have been practiced by ancient traditions. Some of them are similar and all of them focus on the heart and its energy. Some of them are: a. Pranic Tube breathing from the MerKaBa meditation (this is a powerful technique by Drunvalo Melchizedek [1] to move us from our minds to our hearts) b. Part of the Integrated Amrita Meditation (taught to military personnel and inmates to reduce stress) c. Some Tibetan and Indian forms of meditation d. Devotional chanting There are many more than the ones listed above. All of them have the commonality of focusing on our hearts, feeling love, compassion, care and gratitude. People who have and “practice” these wonderful feelings, age slower, live longer and are healthier and happier! When we have those genuine feelings in our hearts, the brain releases about 1,400 chemicals and endorphins that promote health! The effect of having feelings of love, compassion, consideration, and gratefulness for just 3 minutes, can last up to 6 hours! The specific HeartFocused Breathing Technique has been developed by the Institute of HeartMath, www.heartmath.org. It’s taught to law enforcement and military personnel to reduce the stress and anxiety of their daily work, and it also assists them in their personal lives. The techniques we teach below have an additional step I learned from Gregg Braden [2] in one of his seminars. All rights reserved Sacred Seal® 2015 Energy Healing manage Stress Anxiety and Pain Page 22

Procedure: 1. Recall in your mind, then feel in your heart the pleasant feelings of an experience or think of someone who makes you feel loving, compassionate, grateful, or caring. Feel it deeply in your heart. 2. Touch your heart by placing a hand over it or the heart energy center, or placing your hands on the Gasho Meiso position (prayer position) with your thumbs touching your sternum, or just touching the sternum with the tips of your fingers. This helps you focus on your heart. 3. Directing your attention to your heart area, feel the intense love, compassion, and caring or grateful feelings in your heart. Breathe naturally, slowly, without forcing it. It is recommended to breathe in for about 5 or 6 seconds, and out for about 5 or 6 seconds. 4. As you breathe in, visualize the air (charged with prana, energy) entering through your heart, and as you breathe out, visualize the air is going out through your heart. At this point you are creating a heartmind entrainment : the mind follows the heart’s information and the rhythm of a calm heartbeat, and its less likely to respond (not react) negatively under pressure and unpleasant situations. Your heart and mind are getting calmer and calmer because your heartbeat is slowing down. Practice as long as you need. This HeartFocused Breathing technique is ideal to start the day, to practice during the day on breaks, and to end your day. We recommend a 15minute daily practice twice a day for better benefits. This is an excellent relaxation technique to practice for 5 min every hour or two for those who work in front of a computer for long hours. We need to rest our brain after an hour (or two maximum) from computer work . Law enforcement officers are able to control their heartbeat and emotions under the intense pressure of their demanding duties. CHAPTER 4

Pain Management

What is pain? Pain is a blockage of energy in some area of our bodies. When energy cannot freely flow, it means it’s blocked, then pain manifests as a symptom. Many times, the pain manifests in our organs or other areas of our bodies different from the area where the energy is blocked. This is why it’s crucial to examine our thoughts and feelings closely (go deeper into the layers of our human psyche) until we find the true cause of our pain. E.g. our heart is hurting. The causes could be: a. We are in a toxic relationship that is not serving our highest purpose. b. We feel like we can’t share with our partner our most inner feelings, wants, and desires. c. We consciously are in a chronicnegative behavior pattern: our actions are not congruent with our beliefs. d. We are in love with someone we can’t be in a romantic relationship with. e. We feel uncontrollable jealousy toward our romantic partner, business partner, or coworkers, etc. f. We play the victim role in our personal or work relationships. Oftentimes, when our throat is hurting and our voice is compromised, it means we feel unable to express ourselves in some, or all aspects of our lives. Lack of selfexpression (clear, honest expressions) might affect our communication at work, and with others. Sometimes we just can’t put a finger on the cause of pain. “Wherever our heart or intention is, there our energy flows” . Remember, “ you are not the pain ”. Pain is a teacher trying to help us understand what areas of our life we have to work on. Pain is not about punishment; it’s about growing and learning our life lessons as divine human beings.

Sending Love to an Area Affected With Pain Below is an excellent exercise to do when we are unsure about the cause of our pain. Procedure: 1. Create the deep feeling of love we talked about in the HeartFocused Breathing technique on page 21. 2. Send this love energy to the affected part and say (out loud or mentally) “I love you knee” “I love you heart” or any other part or organ. 3. Feel the tingling energy that arises with this practice in the area we are treating. Sometimes we’ll feel numbness (instead of tingling) produced by the loving energy. Practice it as long and as often as needed, in any situation: walking, waiting, on trips, etc. Disclaimer: We do not recommend you practice it while driving.

Radical Forgiveness: Ho’Oponopono Oftentimes, resentment and unresolved situations with family members or friends, can wreak havoc on our emotions and health. Pain manifests in different parts of our bodies, including our backs, hearts and throats. The very first time I practiced the ancient Hawaiian forgiveness tradition Ho’oponopono, my chronic middleback pain I felt when I took deep breaths disappeared. It came back mildly 6 months later, and by practicing Ho'oponopono again, it went away again and hasn’t returned for years! Procedure: 1. Sit comfortably in a chair. Close your eyes. 2. Visualize a white light (cloud like) coming down to your crown chakra, the top of your head. This light enters your head and slowly moves throughout your body, down your legs, through the soles of your feet, and into the earth. Feel the white healing energy going through you body ! 3. Mentally visualize: Bring the person you have conflict or unresolved situations with to a stage in front of you. Mental visualization: On a stage in front of you, imagine the person or persons with whom you are having conflicts or unresolved issues. 4. When he or she is on the stage, visualize a white light coming down his/her head and going through his/her body, legs, and down into the earth. 5. Mentally tell (the higher self of) that person: “ I’m sorry ”, “ I forgive you ”, “ Please forgive me ”, “ Thank you ” “ I’m sorry ”, “ I forgive you ”, “ Please forgive me ”, “ Thank you ” “ I’m sorry ”, “ I forgive you ”, “ Please forgive me ”, “ Thank you ” 6. Feel what you say! And be honest! Pause briefly between phrases and feel what you are saying deeply. 7. Mentally say to that person, “Thank you” and ask him/her to leave the stage. 8. If there are other persons involved in that situation, visualize them all on the stage at the same time and repeat the process on each of them. Practice this powerful emotional clearing technique as often as needed! It can also be used on anyone when, apparently, there are no conflicts. Some people practice it every day! Breathing Energy and Sending It To Affected Part Below is another simple, yet powerful technique that can be used for almost anything: knee pain, back pain, heart pain, etc. 1. Sit comfortably in a chair. 2. Watch your breath for a minute or two as you breathe normally. Your breath will slow down naturally. 3. As you breathe in, visualize the energy or prana from the air filling your lungs. 4. Hold your breath as long as it’s comfortable and send that energy (breath) to the affected part, e.g. your knee or ankle. 5. Breathe out when you feel the need to. Keep sending energy as you exhale. Repeat this exercise as long as you need. 6. It’s useful to visualize and “feel” the energy moving around the affected part . E.g.: a. moving through your knee as a white (green, blue) mist b. an energy “mesh” going back and forth through the affected part c. visualizing the energy moving around your ankle, knee, throat, heart, etc. until you can feel that energy exactly in the way you visualize it. Reverse rotation (counterclockwise) and change rotation axis (leftright to frontback).

7. Variation : Repeat step 3 several (3 to 6) consecutive times and hold the energy in your lungs. 8. Then hold your breath as long as it’s comfortable, start sending energy to the area with pain. Keep sending energy as you exhale too. You might be able to feel the distinctive tingling sensation or numbness on the area with pain very quickly. After a few minutes the pain subsides. This is also an excellent healing technique , which can be combined with sunlight: You can practice it outdoors, exposing the area that needs healing to the sunlight as you combine the energy from the sun with the energy gathered in your lungs and send it to the affected area.

Placing Hands on Areas With Pain Do you remember when you got hit on your shin or other part of your body when you were a child? What did your mother do? She placed her hands on your “booboo” and the pain was gone in a minute! You just knew your mom had “magic hands”! Well, you have them too! We all have magic hands; ready to send healing energy wherever we direct them. “Energy flows where attention goes.” Procedure: 1. Rub your hands vigorously until you feel heat and tingling. 2. Place your hands on the area with pain. 3. Visualize the energy from your hands as white mist or cloud permeating that area with pain. A neon green light for healing and a neon blue one to reduce pain and inflammation. 4. Repeat for as long, and as often, as you want. Five to 15 min is a good time to start. You can combine this simple technique by exposing the area with pain to the healing energy of sunlight.

Exercise for Headaches and Migraines This is a very ancient yoga asana or posture. For years, many people have been using it successfully, and have never taken pain medication for headaches or any other pain! Procedure: 1. On a carpet, yoga mat, or towel, knee down, hands on the floor, like a dog. Spine parallel to the floor, thighs and arms perpendicular to the floor. Feet pointing towards your back, top of feet on the floor. 2. Bend your arms and body down, and place the top or your head (crown chakra) on the floor. Feel the gentle pressure of your upper body on the top of your head. 3. Place both arms relaxed on the sides of your body, rest forearms on the floor, towards your back, back of hands touching the floor. Do not allow your arms to hold your upper body, just rest on both sides. 4. Top of your head holds your upper body on the floor; your knees and back of toes rest on the floor holding up your lower body. 5. Rest your head on the floor for a minute or two. Feel your upper body weight on the top of your head. 6. Gently raise your head, bring your hands together, and hold your head with them. Allow the blood to come back slowly to your body from your head for about 20 to 30 seconds, or longer, if you need it. 7. Repeat as needed. If you feel comfortable you can maintain this position for 3 to 4 minutes.
