He is a living testament that hardships in education are not an obstacle to success. He experienced ups and downs while battling in life but managed to rise up all the way with flying colors. During his college days, he experienced being stormed by financial matters—one thing he considered a major challenge while achieving what he has now. His parents remain his inspiration and the reason he needs to sail in the direction of his dreams. He is forever thankful for his family because they stood up for him amidst inevitable circumstances.
Sweet breakthrough
September 17 and 18, 2019, when he took the nerve-wracking board exam and received the result the day after tomorrow. When the result was out, he was shocked because he did not just pass it but topped the board examination for Respiratory Therapists with a general weighted average of 85.5%. He ranked 10th! Tears trickled down his face upon knowing about it. For him, it was one of the laudable recognitions he had ever received, considering he was the first ever Kolibugan to be named top notcher in his town, Sirawai.
According to him, he started studying early and gave himself enough time to review. He bought books he could use during his review days. With a joyful ballad, at present, he is working at the Ospital ng Maynila Medical Center. He shared that he is planning to go abroad and take a medicine course or Ph.D.
Najib’s words to dreamers
"Just set things aligned and balanced to succeed. Never doubt yourself in everything you do", shares Hassan. He also leaves an inspiring message to the youth by not being afraid of failures because those are part of the process in reaching skies of life’s victory.
We may be tossed around by waves on our sails to our dreams, fall on the ground while running to reach them, but we shall not forget to have faith and keep on fighting so that everything we work hard for will be paid off, ‘Inshaallah’, he further said with teary eyes.
