Introduction: Dogs bark for communication. The key to handle dogs' barks is first to understand the reason for their bark, and then giving it a better option for the dog than barking.
So why does your dog bark? A well-known fact is that there are some kinds of dogs that attend to bark more than the others. There are some essential barks, for example: 'There is somebody on the door' and there are some barks that are just annoying. When your dog barks, it probably tries to tell you:
• I want to do some activity • I am bored • I am scared • I hear someone • I am alone in this hose • Give me some attention now!

How to solve the problem You need to act before the barks. Think about the dog's needs and fill them before he will bark will be the ideal solution. For example, if you think your dog is hungry, give him food before he will bark to get it. Another example is to get him out for activity if he didn’t do lately. If you will just full his needs when he barks, he will think that you compensate his barks and he will keep bark. But if the dog still barks just for barking, although it gets all his needs, you should try to do the following: • First say 'quiet' to him, silenced but aggressive. • If he's stopping, praise him and give him a snack or from his favorite food. • If it doesn’t stop from barking, connect him the strip, walk away a little bit and call him. • If he's stopping and paying attention to you then say: 'Good dog!' and give him a snack. • You can take it further if he doesn’t stop and throw water on him when it barks, that should drive his attention from the bark's purpose to you, then praise him and give him a snack. • After the dog gets the praise and snack, say to him: 'sit!', then praise him. • Another tip for making the dog stop barking when its alone is to leave the radio open, it will interest him and it won't bark because of boredom. • You should try using a special anti-bark collar.
