Safadi Foundation

Safadi Foundation began working informally over 20 years ago along philanthropic lines during the civil war that marked Lebanon’s history, at which time it strived to respond to the humanitarian crisis by providing support to individuals and institutions. In 2001 it was officially established as a non-profit non-governmental organization based on initial development strategies to tackle the overwhelming social problems in the region such as gender inequality, unemployment, rural exodus and poverty.
