Art Requirements What works? • The best artwork is vectorized .eps or Adobe Illustrator, with all fonts converted to outlines. A PDF can work too, as long as the fonts are converted, and the design is in vector format. • A 300 dpi (high resolution) raster image can work perfectly also, if it is set to fit within our template.

What is a raster image? A raster (or bitmap) image is based on pixels. The main disadvantage to this type of file is that it does not scale well and the design within the image is not moveable. If you resize, you may notice that the image quality suffers. This happens because the image is composed of pixels. If you open a raster image and begin to zoom in on the image, you will probably notice the image is broken down into smaller squares (these are called “pixels”). Rasterized images at 300 dpi (high resolution) are ideal for printing.

Landing Pages

What is a vector image? Vector graphics do not use pixels and are based on mathematical formulas that represent curves and lines. Vector graphics are very smooth looking and can easily be resized without loss of image quality. The most important factors of a vector design is that the objects are moveable. In a rasterized design, they are locked and not moveable. Vector is the best type of graphic we can receive. Before sending any vector files, PLEASE create outlines on any text.
