Kofi Atta Annan given special tribute by world leaders for his services
World leaders yesterday paid their last regards to one of Africa’s most well-known negotiators, Busumuru Kofi Atta Annan, as they bade him goodbye at his burial service at the Accra International Conference Center (AICC). It was the peak of three long periods of national grieving which saw a huge number of Ghanaians and the conciliatory corps record past his pine box as it lay in state. Mr Annan kicked the bucket on 18 August, 2018 in Switzerland at 80 years old. Grievers in conventional dark and red clothing recorded the fundamental lobby of the AICC, which sits around 4,000 individuals.
