Mixing exquisitely detailed hand-drawn animations with live performers and some memorable melodies, Tchaikovsky’s glittering ballet is given new life in an ingenious intimate staging for solo pianist, dancer, and digital animation. In this one-hour production for families, hand-drawn animations interact with the live performers. Underpinned by pianist Alexandra Dariescu’s virtuosic performance, this is a delightful re-imagining of an evergreen festive favourite that envelops us in its timeless charm.

When the dashing Prince Charming decides to hold a ball to find his future wife, this may just be the chance Cinderella has been waiting for. Can the Fairy Godmother help Cinderella get to the ball? With the help of some mice and a pumpkin – anything is possible!

Admired for his crystal clarity and spontaneous freshness, Piotr Anderszewski presents music that traces his Polish-Hungarian roots framed by some of Bach’s most florid and adventurous large-scale keyboard works. Bach’s buoyant rhythms are echoed in a selection inspired by Poland’s national dance and in the vivacity and impish humour of Bartók’s miniatures.
