2018 SCHOOL COMPLEX - Mongolia client: private Real Estate Developer task: Complete transformation of a project conceived initially for a shopping center in an international school with a large indoor area for children's play and to bring natural light into the school through a winter garden gallery. Project conceived keeping the structure of the concrete foundations to limit the realization costs.

WATERFRONT - COMPETITION – BAKU – AZ client: task: Regeneration of Coastal Marine Industrial Area of Baku City and its Transformation into Public Spaces Architects: Matteo A.V. Fugazza, Itern - Ivan Nikandrov, Landscape and garden design - Luciano Caprini, Collaborator - Cristina De Pasquale (Italy,Milan) According to a folklore legend the name of the city of Baku comes from the ancient “badu-kube”, meaning “City where the wind blows”. The profile of the coastline shapes itself like swirls of rapid wind, as an elegant waving ribbon. The swirling gestures of the master-plan become numerous marines as well as breakwaters and can be seen from the high-rise buildings surrounding them. The project is divided into multiple areas and layers: Parks and Green areas, Entertainment, Culture, Sport, Shopping, Housing developments, Office and multifunctional development and a High-rise district in the centre of the project. A careful and considerate choice of the trees and plants for this particular ecosystem will secure the thriving life of the flora in the future… The system of public water transportation together with numerous boat terminals spread on the waterfront and embankment allow to travel and commute quickly along the coastline

I live in Milan and I’ve worked in several studies before joining my family company being at first as a managing partner in 2001 (Aedificia srl – design advisory services company for Real Estate) and then as founding partner of the firm Studio Associato Fugazza (www.SAFmilano.it ) since 2002.

Studio Associato Fugazza deals for over 45 years (continuing the tradition of four previous generations in my family) for architectural design, engineering, urban planning and consulting for the private sector and for public administrations throughout Italy.

Since 2004 my firm equips himself for BIM on the design through the use of Autodesk Revit - then we’ve been involved by Autodesk in several conferences and events.

Since 2012 I deal with the International Business Development for SAFmilano (Russia, the Balkans, the United Arab Emirates, North Africa, Europe).

Keeping up to date my knowledge in the various fields of my profession, I participate in 2011-2013 at the Workshop of "Architecture and Managment" organized by SDA Bocconi Economy and Business University; the early days of this course comes the knowledge that my profession is heavily loss of some elements that can actually allow to find a solution in the current Italian building industry crisis.

NEXIAR Italian Architecture Network

After a hard work of selection, organization and coordination in April 2013 I founded, along with 12 members from various professions, the first and only Italian Professional network: NEXIAR Italian Architecture (www.nexiar.it, which today brings together about 120 professionals), I was elected president with responsibility for business development in Italy and abroad. The network operates mainly outside of Europe, the Middle East, the Balkans, Russia and China, exploring new markets. After developing for NEXIAR a network of over 190 international decision makers in the real estate market in Italy, Russia, Balkans, China and United Arab Emirates, and led to the evaluation of the network more than 40 different assignments and tender, my experience in the course ended December 2014.
