History of Splendor Series The Splendor was launched by Indian arms of Japanese two-wheeler maker, Honda, back in 1994. Since then it becomes the most popular motorcycle of the Hero Honda. The motorcycle is powered by 97.2 cc engine displacement. The company had managed to sale over one million units per year.

Splendor 1994

Splendor 1994 Splendor was an evergreen motorcycle of the Hero and Honda which was launched in 1994. Now, the production of the bike has been stopped. Hero Honda Splendor has been declared as the best selling model of entire range of models. The bike was powered by the 97.2cc engine which produces a peak power of 7.4 BHP. It had a simple design and a decent look.

Splendor+ 2004

Splendor+ 2004 Hero Honda has upgraded Splendor model into the Splendor Plus in 2004 with a tag line “Lage Aisa Family Jaisa�. The new upgraded model is featured with multi-reflector headlight, revised tail light and with some new graphics. After then, it gone under the updation for some other features in 2007.

Super Splendor 2005

Super Splendor 2005 The Super Splendor was introduced in 2005, which is a lightweight motorcycle comes equipped with some promising features. The new features are digital speedometer, disc brake at front, alloy wheels and new graphics which gives a decent look to the bike. It also delivers a decent mileage as it is featured with new ASFS engine. The vehicle is powered by a 125 cc engine that churns out a maximum power of 9.12 PS.

Splendor Pro 2011 Splendor Pro is the next flagship model of Splendor series which launched back in 2011.

The bike comes with new graphics, body fairing, self-start and alloy wheels. It is one of the best 100cc bike in country from Hero stable.

Splendor iSmart 2014

Splendor iSmart 2014 The Splendor iSmart has been introduced in 2014. It is the first motorcycle which gives highest mileage of 102.5 KMPL. Hero brings a new technology in this bike, i3s technology that gives a great mileage to the bike. The i3s technology works as switches off the engine automatically when idle and engine switches on as soon as you press the clutch. The power of the bike comes from an air-cooled and 100cc engine that produces a peak power of 7.9 BHP.

Splendor Pro Classic 2014

Splendor Pro Classic 2014 Splendor Pro Classic has been manufactured to look like a cafe racer and it is launched in 2015. It is featured with compact handlebar, round shaped headlight and retro styled tail section. The chrome finishing over the fenders, rear view mirror, headlight, suspension and exhaust. The cafe racer is powered by a 97.2 cc engine that produces a maximum power of 8.2 BHP.
