Digital Broadcasting System - DBS The Digital Magic The DBS system revolutionizes an existing lab, transforming it into a true digital lab of the future. It is a hardware based system with its core features of broadcasting audio/video from the teacher unit to between one and eighty students. With zero downtime, the system promises a smooth transmission of education material. The DBS facilitates learning by connecting both teacher and student onto a single platform of collaboration, interaction, engagement. It makes the material for students interesting by letting them communicate and share ideas with one another on any given subject. Teacher performs various functions on the console to make his/her lesson effective during the class time. He/She also controls the communication between students. The power of self-effectiveness in all learning environments The DBS works on its own independent network eliminating the need for any pre-existing network (LAN). It can be operated either with or without a terminal at the students workstation, as the student only requires a screen and a set of headphones. The audio/video stream is broadcast directly to the student’s screen and headphones. Both the screen and the headphone are connected to the DBS device. Because of this unique quality (PC and NON-PC based) the use of the DBS is extended into a multitude of environments, and can be successful in learning environments where screens and headphones are sufficient; such as in language labs, Quran memorizing classrooms and other computer labs for general education purposes. Broadcasting video and audio without disturbance The use of the DBS means that the students learning experience will not be disturbed by hardware/software failures, as all students learn from the same teachers feed simultaneously. Multiple sources of broadcasting Whether the teacher likes to broadcast educational material from his /her classroom computer or from his/her laptop the system is ready to serve all needs. Furthermore the teacher can easily play and broadcast educational materials from a dvd-player, mp3 player, visual camera and other input media. Broadcasting on a central output / projector Teacher can broadcast his/her screen on to a centre monitor/LCD TV/Projector so all the students can have focus on a main classroom screen. Darkening and observing student screens The teacher can easily darken (switch off) one student or all the students screens as well as observe student’s screens making sure they following the correct instructions, and subsequently enhance their learning.
Discussing, collaborating and sharing ideas This system also features dialogue to take place at different levels. For example, students can discuss, collaborate and share ideas together, regardless of where they are sitting geographically within a classroom. The teacher only has to decide how a dialogue takes place. The teacher can at anytime tune in and listen to the conversation without knowledge of the students. A. Student to Instructor The teacher can select any one of the students to have a dialogue with him/her without other students hearing or having ability take part in the conversation. B. A group of students with the instructor The teacher can select a few students and form a group to hold a dialogue. The teacher can further add other students to the group or remove the same from the group. C. Student to Student The teacher can initiate a dialogue between two students on the same student unit. There could be up to forty groups of two students depending on the layout of the system. Additionally, the teacher can create a single group of students for conversation. D. Groups of students and a chosen leader student The teacher can create several groups based on the hardware layout and determine one student as a leader of the group. The leader can demonstrate the material on his computer to his group. He can discuss and collaborate with his group by using video and audio. Each group retains full privacy of conversation between their group members. Student in teacher’s role Teacher can choose a specific student to present his work or demonstrate educational material to other students from his or her computer. Both the video and audio from his station will be transmitted to all of the student computers. This mean a student can take the role of a teacher in the classroom with the permission of the teacher.
Smart Teaching Classroom Management - ST Electronic Classroom Management Multiple classrooms managed from one computer. The system allows different teachers to manage their classrooms from the teacher’s computer in a lab. After inputting a password and a class name, the teacher can enter and save student names separately for each class then arrange them according to the seating layout. When the lesson begins teacher simply chooses classroom name from the list; all student names are automatically displayed according to the layout of that chosen class. After that teacher can easily perform the following functions. Taking electronic exams with immediate results With ST the teacher can first create and save exams in a database. Then send to students at the time desired. Once the student has finished the exam, the system automatically checks and marks the exam and sends the final results back to the student. Choose from a six type questionnaire format: Multiple Choice | Choose one | True or False | Fill in the blank | Comprehension questions | Essay questions Taking automatic attendance, no more roll call This system allows the teacher to send the attendance screen to all students asking them to state their presence and automatically signing in every individual student to the system. Running a program simultaneously on all computers will save time and effort. The teacher can open for example MS Word on all student computers in a classroom. At the same time, the teacher can run any program intended only for the teacher on his/ her computer then send it to at all student’s computer. Switching On/Off all computers With a simple click, a teacher can easily switch on/off all computers in the classroom putting him or her at an advantage. Sharing files prompting effective learning Through ST panel, the teacher can send exercises to students then retrieve once they have finished. There is no limit on the type of file that can be shared. Anything that is displayed on teacher’s computer can be shared with students. At the same time students can share files among themselves but only with the permission from the teacher. Observing all student-activity Observing 16 students at the same time or one student in particular is possible with the ST. By observing any student’s activity the teacher can feel secure all students are following instructions
Recording all lectures for later reference The teacher can record screencasts (screen recording) of lectures, save it and then distribute it to students so that they can refer to it anytime after class. The same recorded lecture can even be used by other teachers teaching the same subject. Restricting students from a certain application or activity The teacher can restrict students from a certain application or activity. For example the teacher can restrict students from using the Internet during class as it can cause distraction. Darkening student screens The teacher can easily darken (switch off) one student or all the student screens so that they only hear and focus on the teacher’s instructions. Keyboard Mouse Control The teacher can remotely control mouse and keyboard of a student from teacher’s computer. This enables the teacher to open/close or demonstrate something on student’s computer without travelling to a him/her in the classroom. This saves time and gives total control to the teacher in a classroom.

ميكن إدارة فصول دراسية متعددة من كمبيوتر واحد. ويتيح هذا النظام مختلف املعلمني إلدارة صفوفهم من نفس الكمبيوتر في اخملتبر .بعد إسناد كلمة سر ، كما ميكن للمعلم إدخال وحفظ أسماء الطالب بشكل منفصل لكل فئة مع تخصيص مقعد لكل طالب . وميكن للمعلم اختيار الصف من القائمة وجميع الطالب تلقائيا وسوف يتم عرضها وفقا للتخطيط من تلك الفئة اخملتارة .و ميكن للمعلم القيام باملهام التالية.
االمتحانات اإللكترونية و النتائج الفورية
امتحان الورقة هو شيء من املاضي! مع هذا النظام ميكن للمعلم أوال إنشاء وحفظ االمتحانات في قاعدة بيانات .ثم ترسل للطالب في الوقت املطلوب. مبجرد انتهاء الطالب من االمتحان ،بعدها يتم تصحيح االمتحانات اليا وترسل العالمات النهائية ،ويؤمن النظام عدة أنواع من االختبارات منها ما يلي:

أخذ احلضور التلقائي
يسمح هذا النظام للمدرب إلرسال شاشة احلضور جلميع الطالب وعلى كل طالبا منهم اثبات وتوقيع على حالة حضوره .
تشغيل برنامج في وقت واحد على كافة أجهزة الكمبيوتر يعد توفيرا للوقت واجلهد
وميكن للمعلم على سبيل املثال فتح مايكروسوفت وورد على كافة أجهزة الطلبة .وفي الوقت نفسه ،ميكن للمدرب تشغيل أي برنامج يهدف فقط للمعلمني على الكمبيوتر ثم إرساله إلى اجهزة الطلبة اذا رغب ذلك .
تشغيل /إيقاف كافة أجهزة الكمبيوتر بشكل ملحوظ بنقرة واحدة
بنقرة بسيطة ،ميكن للمدرب بسهولة تشغيل / إيقاف كافة أجهزة الكمبيوتر في الفصول الدراسية وتعتبر هذه ميزة اضافية لهذا النوع من املعامل .
مشاركة امللفات ودفع فعالية التعليم
ميكن للمعلم إرسال التمارين للطالب ثم استردادها مبجرد االنتهاء من مهامهم .ال يوجد حد على نوع امللفات التي ميكن مشاركتها .كل شي يتم عرضه على شاشة املعلم ميكن مشاركته مع الطالب ،كما ميكن للطلبة املشاركة فيما بينهم بعد موافقة املعلم .
مراقبة انشطة جميع الطالب
من املمكن اآلن مع نظام التدريس الذكي ،ان يقوم املعلم برصد او مراقبة 16طالبا في الوقت نفسه او احد الطلبة على وجه اخلصوص .للتاكد من ان الطلبة يتبعون االرشادات .
تسجيل جميع احملاضرات للرجوع اليها في وقت الحق
ميكن للمدرب تسجيل ما يتم بثه للطالب رسوميا ،وحفظها ومن ثم توزيعها على الطالب بحيث ميكن الرجوع إليها في أي وقت بعد انتهاء اليوم الدراسي .بل إن احملاضرة نفسها التي مت تسجيلها يتم استخدامها من قبل املعلمني االخرين .
تقييد الطالب من تطبيق أو نشاط معني
وميكن للمدرب تقييد الطالب من تطبيق أو نشاط معني .على سبيل املثال ميكن للمدرب تقييد الطالب من استخدام اإلنترنت التي تشغله عن االنتباه في الفصل .
السيطرة التلقائية على الطالب
يسمح النظام للمعلم املسح تلقائيا لعمل كل طالب (مراقبة مرئية ) وعلى فترات معينة من الوقت احملدد من قبل املعلم من خالل وحدة التحكم الرئيسية في النظام
بث الفيديو الرقمي السحر الرقمي
نظام دي بي اس احدث ثورة في اخملتبرات احلالية وحتويلها الى مختبرات رقمية حقيقية للمستقبل .مع قدرتها من بث الفيديو والصوت من املعلمني إلى 80طالبا بسرعة فائقة ،ونظام انتقال سلس للبيانات للطالب .فهو يجعل نفس االشياء القدمية مملة للطالب و جعل الطالب واملعلمني معا التواصل وتبادل األفكار من دون حدود.
القوة الفعالة في البيئة التعليمية

يعمل النظام على شبكة مستقلة مما يلغي احلاجة الجهزة الكمبيوتر أو احلاجة للشبكة احلالية .ويعد استخدام هذا النظام ناجحا في كل بيئة التعليم من مختبرات تعليم اللغة -حتفيظ القرآن -الفصول الدراسية -ومعامل الكمبيوتر -وجميع األغراض التربوية والتعليمية.
ميكن حتديد طالب واحد من الطالب إلجراء حوار معه /معها دون علم اآلخرين وعدم قدرة اآلخرين من السماع أو املشاركة في احلوار .

مبا ان النظام يعمل بشكل مستقل فإنه يضمن عملية التعلم مستمرة في حالة اضطراب أو فشل في أجهزة الطلبة .حيث ميكن بث املواد التعليمية مباشرة جلهاز الطالب بالصوت والصورة من خالل جهاز املعلم . ان اجهزة دي بي اس تعمل بشكل مستقل من دون احلاجة إلى أجهزة الكمبيوتر اخلاصة بالطالب في بث املواد التعليمية (الفيديو والصوت) مباشرة الى الطالب من خالل جهاز املعلم.

بامكان املعلم بث املواد التعليمية من خالل جهاز الكمبيوتر اخلاص به او كمبيوتر محمول او من خالل مشغل دي في دي او كاميرا وثائقية او االنترنت .

بامكان املعلم بث املواد التعليمية من خالل جهاز تلفزيون ال سي دي او من جهاز عرض وبامكان الطلبة متابعة املواد في جهاز العرض املوجود بالفصل .

بإمكان املعلم إطفاء شاشة طالب معني او كل الطلبة ومراقبتهم للتاكد من انهم يتبعون االرشادات
املناقشة ،والتعاون وتبادل األفكار
لدي هذا النظام خاصية احلوار على مستويات مختلفة. وميكن للطالب املناقشة والتعاون وتبادل األفكار معا ،

ميكن حتديد مجموعة من الطلبة وتشكيل فريق إلجراء حوار معهم .وميكن للمعلم إضافة مزيد من الطالب الى اجملموعة أو إزالة طالب من اجملموعة.
الطالب مع طالب اخر
ميكن للمعلم بدء حوار بني اثنني من الطالب على وحدة الطالب نفسه .كما ميكن ربط ما يصل الى 40مجموعة من اثنني من الطالب وفقا لتخطيط النظام التلقائي .عالوة على ذلك ،ميكن خلق مجموعة واحدة من الطالب للحوار .في أي وقت ميكن للمعلم االنضمام إلى احملادثة بحرية.
مجموعات من الطالب وطالب قائد
وميكن للمعلم إنشاء عدة مجموعات على أساس اخملطط الذي يظهر امامه على اجلهاز وحتديد طالب كقائد وميكن للقائد بث املواد املوجودة على اجلهاز اخلاص به جملموعت كما يستطيع املناقشة والتعاون مع جماعته باستخدام الفيديو والصوت .حتتفظ كل مجموعة اخلصوصية الكاملة للمحادثة بني أفراد جماعتهم.
قائد طالبي
ميكن للمعلم اختيار طالب معني كنموذج لديه برامج تثقيفية في جهازه و السماح له ببث املواد من عنده الى طالب آخر لعرض محتوياته بالصوت والصورة على الشاشة. مبعنى ان يقوم الطالب مقام املعلم في الفصل وهذا تفعيل ودعم كبير للتعلم التعاوني داخل الفصل الدراسي.
