The hard work is over—for now. Not only have you completed your application, you have given us insight into who you are as a thinker and a maker.
And, although we’ve said it before, congratulations on being admitted to the nation’s most influential art and design school. It is an accomplishment of which you and your family should be proud.
Now it’s time to dive in, learn more about us, and make sure ALL of your questions are answered.
To help you and those assisting in your college selection process, we’re providing multiple opportunities to meet with us, get to know your peers, and determine whether we are a good fit for you.
We look forward to seeing you, and please do not hesitate to contact us in the meantime with any questions you may have!
Now that you are an admitted student, no doubt you have a lot of questions — what classes do I take my first year? What is housing like? Do you offer internships and study abroad? What about financial aid?
To answer these questions and more, we have provided a variety of programming — from our Regional Admitted Student Receptions where you will meet peers from your area to Artbash your opportunity to be among the first to select your courses for the Fall 2025 semester!
Throughout these experiences, you will also have the opportunity to talk to current students, their parents, and recent alums. Equally important, you get to meet your peers and fellow members of the creative community you will be joining in Fall 2025. Remember, these are the people you may need to borrow art supplies from in the future, so get their information and keep in touch!

Join us for casual meet and greets with admissions staff, SAIC faculty and area alums. We’ll be starting out with a brief presentation, but have set aside some time for you to ask your questions and MOST IMPORTANTLY, meet with other students and their families.

You have great choices ahead, from Research Studio and English course topics, and of course, your choice of studio elective, so you can dive right in.
We will also be hosting a range of programming, including the opportunity to view the work of current first-year students in our annual ARTBASH exhibition, tour the campus and our residence halls, get all of your questions answered, and more!
