THE GARDENS MALL FALL 2022

The design of the Haymarket Lincoln space prioritizes accessibility and ease of use for all users. To achieve this, the project has been divided into two active sections that face each other, creating an open and welcoming atmosphere. The central space is intentionally left open, and a seating system has been integrated into a stunning vertical garden, providing an organic and calming environment for people to gather, relax, and interact.

One of the most exciting features of the Haymarket Lincoln space is the ability to open and close the entire area at the same time. This creates a unique and immersive experience for visitors, allowing them to truly immerse themselves in the space and feel a sense of unity with their surroundings. The circulation system has been specifically designed to meet the needs of workers, enabling them to easily access the green house and return to their working areas.

In addition, the commercial kitchen and bar have been thoughtfully designed to be situated close to each other, creating a seamless experience for users. The idea is to enable people to grab fresh food and drinks and move effortlessly to the dining space, where they can enjoy their meals in a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. Moreover, there is an exterior space where people can also savor their meals and drinks while enjoying the fresh air and natural beauty of the surrounding environment.

Overall, the Haymarket Lincoln space has been meticulously designed to create a dynamic, accessible, and immersive environment where people can work, relax, and connect with each other in a natural and inviting atmosphere.

THE BATH HOUSE

SPRING 2022

The concept behind the bathhouse building is to seamlessly blend various design elements to achieve a modern and opulent exhibition. This is achieved through careful consideration of the materials and colors utilized in the construction of the building. The primary objective is to create a visually striking aesthetic that exudes luxury and refinement.

To achieve this, a blend of sophisticated materials is used in the construction, carefully selected for their visual appeal, durability, and luxurious appeal. A minimalist approach is adopted to imbue the space with modernity, which is evident in the simplicity of both floors. This design choice allows for a clean and uncluttered space that exudes a sense of effortless elegance and sophistication.

The lighting design in the bathhouse is also carefully planned to create a cozy and relaxing ambiance. The choice of lighting is deliberate and well thought out, as the darkness is often associated with luxury and tranquility. The lighting scheme is designed to highlight the beauty of the space while also creating an atmosphere of relaxation and comfort. The result is a space that is both visually stunning and comforting to the senses, designed to promote a sense of total relaxation and wellbeing. “The human eye is most perfectly tuned for twilight rather than bright daylight.” Pallasmaa_The-Eyes-of-the-Skin.B

FUTURE PIONEERS

The “Future Pioneers” initiative has set its sights on delving deeper into the topic of integrating nature with education. Its primary objective is to promote and educate children and parents on the numerous advantages of spending time in nature. The ultimate goal is to inspire children to coexist with nature from a young age, as this is believed to have a long-lasting and positive impact on their lives.

To achieve this aim, the initiative is exploring the design of educational environments that facilitate a connection with nature. The idea is to create a setting that encourages and supports this connection, thereby instilling in children the importance of maintaining a harmonious relationship with nature throughout their lives. By involving parents in this educational journey, the initiative hopes to create a culture of appreciation and respect for the natural world.

The advantages of connecting with nature are manifold, ranging from improved mental health and wellbeing to enhanced creativity and cognitive development. Incorporating nature into education, the initiative believes, will result in a more enjoyable and fulfilling learning experience for children. The vision is to design schools that feel like a second home, where children can feel comfortable and relaxed, while also having access to a wide range of educational resources that support their learning and development.

To achieve this vision, the initiative will be exploring different approaches to designing educational spaces that facilitate a connection with nature. This will involve researching various materials and technologies that can be used to create a harmonious and immersive learning environment. The initiative will also investigate how the educational curriculum can be adapted to incorporate nature-based activities and experiences.

The “Future Pioneers” project aims to explore how educational environments can be designed to facilitate a connection with nature, with a view to promoting the benefits of spending time in nature to children and parents. By integrating nature into education, the initiative hopes to create a culture of appreciation and respect for the natural world, while also providing children with a more enjoyable and fulfilling learning experience.

being in nature. The integration and association of nature with education is a great motivation to achieve the ultimate goal of a child coexisting with nature in their early childhood stages. It will be entrenched in their subconscious and is also beneficial to children in terms of creativity, general health and wellbeing. As the design intended to make the school has the vibe of home, in order to simplify the purposes of educations where the fun and nature are existed.

WHERE THE TEACHERS AND THE CHILDREN ARE THE MAIN CHARACTERS IN THE SPACE, ALSO THERE ARE SOME POSSIBILITIES FOR WORKERS TO EXPERIENCE THE SPACE DUE TO THE NEED FOR MAINTAINING THE SPACE. AS WELL AS THE PARENTS ARE PART OF THE DESIGN INTENTION .
