Religious Education

Dear St. Mary Religious Education Family,

What a gift it is to be surrounded by the beauty of spring. I cannot help but snap pictures of the beautiful cherry blossoms and sprouting daffodils when passing by them. Also in this time of new beginnings, joy is ever present in the sacrament of First Holy Communion. St. Mary’s First Communicants begin their Catholic journey anew, upon receiving the holy Eucharist for the first time. From the beginning, the celebration of the Lord’s Eucharist has been the center of the Church’s life. And the sacramental life of grace continues in Confirmation with the gifts of the Holy Spirit. It is wonderful to see our eighth grade students continuing their study with Catechists Mrs. Palumbo and Mrs. Sipress. They understand that, in many ways, their faith journey has just begun together with the Holy Spirit.

Let us ask our Lady of the Rosary, to obtain for St. Mary’s First Communicants and Newly Confirmed the grace from her Son to receive Him always worthily and with a spirit of thanksgiving.

Blessings, Mrs. Granieri
