Exposition and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament

An Adoration Meditation

Jesus said to the crowds: “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me will never hunger, and whoever believes in me will never thirst. But I told you that although you have seen me, you do not believe.

Exposition and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament with Benediction

Mondays 3:00 - 5:00 PM in the Church

Everything that the Father gives me will come to me, and I will not reject anyone who comes to me, because I came down from heaven not to do my own will but the will of the one who sent me. And this is the will of the one who sent me, that I should not lose anything of what he gave me, but that I should raise it on the last day. For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in him may have eternal life, and I shall raise him on the last day.”

- From the Gospel of John 6:35-40

Every Gift Counts!

A gift of $50 may help pay the gas for a Meals-On-Wheels van to deliver food for a day.

A gift of $75 from an emergency fund may help pay the electric bill for a family in need.

A gift of $100 may help a new mom in Catholic Charities Regina Maternity Community Case Management Program.

Because of you, every year we are able to serve more than 600,000 people in our Long Island Community. Catholic Charities and parish outreaches can maintain and grow their services to families struggling to meet the demands of higher costs for food, housing and utilities. Faith formation programs for our seminarians and lay leaders thrive so that they can fulfill their calling to lead the faithful of our community. Faith is inspired and kept alive for our youth so that they come to understand that their faith is a gift that should be passed on from generation to generation.

I will plant a seed in good dirt and water it for you, Lord.

Draw Jesus in a boat on the lake talking to you and your family.

Jesus is standing in a boat at the edge of a large lake. He is talking to you and a crowd on the shore. You are sitting on a blanket with your mother’s picnic basket beside you. Jesus talks about sowing seed. You are like God’s seed. You grow in God’s way because you are baptized with the water of salvation and are given the nutrients that come from obeying God’s commandments.

Lord, tell me how to grow closer to your ways of goodness.
