The second half restarted in the same way with both sides looking committed to attacking football. Harborough had the first clear chance but Dan Forbes glanced his free header wide of the far post but the early introduction of Trey Charles seemed to buck St Neots. Adu was looking menacing with his attacking runs at defenders and he set up Manny Osei whose finish was wildly over the cross bar. Charles then fed Adu who moved inside his marker to bring a good save from Taylor and the lively Barton then saw an effort blocked by a defender.On the hour a flare up saw Tommy Boxer and Rhys Hoenes booked and three minutes later Charles had the ball in the net from a through pass by Adu but he was ruled fractionally offside. The visiting keeper then did well to parry another effort by Charles and from an Aaron Smith free kick Tommy Boxer saw a close range shot deflected for a corner. With eleven minutes left an Adu shot was parried and Trey Charles pounced to claim what proved to be the winning goal. There was still time for late efforts at both ends, but that one priceless strike by Charles proved to be enough.
