Querbes Scholars

• The Querbes Scholars Program provides enriching activities that foster personal growth, intellectual independence, and faith development in accordance with the mission and vision of Fr. Louis Querbes. • Querbes Scholars are students of exceptional academic promise, highly motivated, and imbued with a faith-based concern for others. • This transformative program’s many enrichment opportunities prepare students to be among the top candidates for admission into leading colleges and universities in the nation. Scholar desgination appears on the student’s transcript. • Invitations to apply will be sent at the completion of freshmen, sophomore, or junior years to students who qualify.

STEM Designation Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math

• The STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) designated curriculum is ideal for students who are considering a college major in one of these fields. • Students may join in their freshmen or sophomore years to supplement their college-preparatory coursework with an emphasis on STEM-designated classes and experiences. • Upon successful completion of the requirements, students will receive a designation on their transcript.

INCubatoredu

• In this program, students will create their own business and learn how to be entrepreneurs by developing skills in creative problem solving, critical thinking, public speaking, and teamwork. • Students are taught by teams of volunteers and subjectmatter experts, providing an opportunity to work with real-world entrepreneurs.

Scanlan Center

• The Scanlan Center is ideal for students who have the potential to succeed academically, but might require more individualized support to excel in Saint Viator’s rigorous college-preparatory curriculum. • Students accepted into the program have diagnosed learning differences, an Individual Learning Plan (IEP), a 504 Plan, Other Health Impairments (OHI), Response to

Intervention (RTI) plans, a current psycho-educational evaluation report, Neuropsychological evaluation report, or qualify for services through a case evaluation by Saint

Viator staff. • The Scanlan Center staff has helped hundreds of students develop independent, lifelong learning skills. Approximately 80 students attend learning strategy classes each day, while 350 students make use of the testing center each week.
