STUDENTS FROM FAR AND WIDE TRAVEL TO ATTEND SAINT VIATOR

Saint Viator High School draws from a large geographical area. Whether you are just around the corner or a few towns over, there’s a way to get here. Students commute from miles in every direction — from Crystal Lake, Lake Zurich, Itasca, and Edison Park.

You have several transportation options to consider including taking the Metra and Train Station Shuttle, the Southwest Shuttle, and arranging for carpooling with the CarpooltoSchool app.

By Shuttle

Train Station Shuttle The Train Station Shuttle travels to and from Saint Viator on all school days from the downtown Arlington Heights train station. Students who take eastbound or westbound Metra trains, or who live in the downtown Arlington Heights area, may use this service. The bus leaves the station between 7:35 a.m. and 7:40 a.m. on regular attendance days.

Southwest Parishes Shuttle The Southwest Parishes Shuttle is provided before and after school on all regular attendance days to and from the following stops: St. Walter Catholic School and St. Hubert Catholic School. Shuttle service is dependent on minimum ridership.

By Car

Saint Viator is easily accessible from many roads and major highways including I-90, I-53, Route 12, and Route 14. Many Lions find that carpools are the most convenient way to travel to and from Saint Viator. We are now partnered with CarpooltoSchool, an online service, that allows families to build carpools for students.
