We’ve all heard of the big bang. Some people link it to the hand of god. Others link it to science. A few propose that some absentminded alien lit a smoke in an intergalactic fuel station. All very credible theories. But this is beside the point. Since then the world has seen a mix of madness. Fish began to walk and monkeys began to talk. These talking monkeys formed armies and ran around fighting one another. They still do this today; only their armies are called companies. This is beside the point as well. In fact everything that you just read was put in to create drama and conjure up a sense of grandeur (not to mention fill this page). Now where were we‌ah yes, talking monkeys. Somewhere along the way, a select mix of these monkeys happened to evolve. They grew sharper than the rest. They were no longer monkeys. They were people! A mix of creative people that planned to change the rest of the world.
They called themselves Rezonant.

Rezonant is not a company. It is a conglomeration of incredible minds. Do you even know what conglomeration means? Of course you do! You wouldn’t be holding this if you didn’t. Rezonant is a path, an innovative channel through which something great is achieved. For over a decade, this path has meandered through several territories – Branding, Advertising and even product design. What’s more, this journey is still in its infancy. There’s no terrain it hesitates to engage with. Rezonant aims for one thing, and that’s great results. It’s all well and good to go around dropping terms like great results. Hence the question... But what’s the point of having the finest tools, if there’s nothing to build? The third and final element that is essential to producing great results is a set of great clients! We work with a variety of clients, from Fortune 500 companies to startups. The one thing they all have in common is their desire to do something incredible. Through our journey so far we’ve interacted with some of the best clients…as well as some real terrors. Now, we’ve already been blowing our own trumpet for a tad too long and to start announcing what kind of clients we want to work with… well would be far too conceited. ndow) that needs saving?

The Idiot

Imagine this scene from a comic book - Spiderman crashes through the window of a burning building. Now why could he be doing this? Is he angry at the window? Is it an evil window that requires punishing? Or is it because there’s a bigger picture - someone in the building (behind the window) needs saving! Some clients simply can’t see the bigger picture. They’re eager to keep their jobs afloat with patchwork and they ultimately end up with a haphazard collage of this and that. They’re not bad people. They’re just idiots.
The Miser This one’s pretty simple. We did the work. We want to be paid for it. We don’t want a string of emails telling us that your bank is acting up or that the money you expected from some OTHER project hasn’t come in yet. We don’t care. Pay us on time, that’s all.
Mr. Impatient
The Dictator Let’s say you’ve been hired to write articles for this guy. So why does he expect you to pickup his laundry? Why are you reading bedtime stories to his kids? And for *BLEEP*s sake, why are you walking his dog? Some clients do not know the difference between employing a professional and buying a slave. They think it’s the same thing. They’re demanding, rude, unreasonable and unwanted by us.
So, there’s this guy who appears to be in a crisis. He wants you to finish a project in two days, something that would normally take you two weeks to do. He says it’s incredibly urgent. A matter of life and death, he says. For the next two days he calls you, texts you, mails you, even lands up in your office and perches himself on your shoulder. Two days later, you know you could’ve done a better job, but you take comfort in the fact that you kept to the deadline and that you helped someone out. Then he makes you spend the next two weeks making changes to your ‘not so good’ job.
The Meddler When you employ someone for a specific job, the least you can do, is let them do it. Some people cannot help but put in their two bits, whether it’s relevant or not. They’ll want you to change things based on something their grandson heard on the radio while vacationing in the Bahamas. His suggestions will be based on information that his daughter came by, on her favourite soap opera – “You see, my daughter saw this on the Bold and the Beautiful and I think we must try it… ”Ah shaddup!”
The Snail
The Liar
Take this scenario: A client wants you to make a brochure for his startup. You meet him. He promises to mail you all the required material by the end of the following day. Two days later, you still haven’t received anything from him. You shoot him an email, reminding him. Two more days pass. Still nothing. You send him another reminder. You call him. He says he’s been very busy and that he’ll send you everything ASAP! HE reassures you with a text. He puts ASAP in caps, just to show you how serious he is. A week passes. Still no mail. Two weeks pass and you finally get an email that reads – ‘Something in red or in blue’. While you’re still coming to terms with the absurdity of this, you get another mail from him. This one’s an apology. It reads – ‘Sorry, that was for my wife. She’s in London and wanted to know what sweater to buy me’. We don’t want to turn homicidal, so we stay away from such people.
The Amnesiac This one’s a doozie…Not everyone thinks before speaking. Some of them just spew words into the air and happen to make some sense. The next time you see them, however they’re spewing different words altogether! Now it’s terribly inconvenient and discomforting to carry around a camcorder and turn it on every time your client starts speaking. What’s worse is pulling it out in front of him the following week and telling him, “See! THIS is what you said!” It’s ridiculous. We can do without it.
A man walks into a textile store and asks to see the finest silk there is. He inquires about silk dresses, shirts, bedcovers and 21 even woven silk carpets. He is eloquent about his love of silk and about how he wants every inch of his mansion draped in it. His only purchase however, is a handkerchief. Some clients tend to make mountains…out of little clumps of earth (to call them molehills would be far too flattering). And we end up bringing out the bazooka…to swat a fly.

Why it makes sense to do zero defect work?
Why it makes sense to get it right the first time? That’s a silly question…have you ever met someone who wanted to get it wrong the first time? There’s a category of people who sit at their computers all day and night, clicking away incessantly. They sacrifice their sleep, their leisure and their social lives. When presented with a task, these individuals toil away and work incessantly until they’ve got it right. The Japanese are known for this. Japan also has a special category of death called Karoshi – which means ‘death from overwork’. It also has the highest suicide rate in the world. Working like a dog happens to include living like one. You sleep wherever you can, you eat leftovers and you aren’t really allowed outdoors. Scratch that. Some dogs have it a lot better. There’s a reason why the phrase ‘work-life balance’ was coined…Because, there’s work…and there’s life…and you need both of them to LIVE!
There’s an easier way of doing things, where you manage to do a great job and still keep your sanity. Just get it right the first time! We believe in this strongly. It just makes sense. If you get things right the first time, then everyone’s happy. Your boss is happy that great work is being done, your clients are happy to receive great work, your clients’ customers are happy to be the targets of this great work and their bankers are happy with all money that the great work is bringing in. Now everyone can go home earlier and live their lives!
What are the chances of getting anything right the first time, or any time for that matter, if it has defects? Now that we’ve already established the importance of getting it right the first time, the next step is…well…not screwing up! We’ve all heard the phrase about failure being the stepping-stone to success and whatnot…but NOT if you’re looking to nail it, first time round. And boy do we believe in doing that! When your work is free of bugs, then that means you got it right the first time. This means that you’ll get your approvals faster. You can go home early and chill the f….. well, you can relax! Apart from this, you make a good first impression AND a good last impression. With zero defects come zero production losses, zero litigation and zero image loss! You’re living the dream!

Why it makes sense to hire only the best? Now that we’ve gone and stated that we believe in doing flawless work, we must acknowledge that It isn’t possible to produce impeccable results with mediocre people… so we really have no choice but to hire only the best. You think the Mona Lisa was painted with twigs? No! Da Vinci had some badass paintbrushes! Not to say he couldn’t have done it with twigs…He would’ve probably made some badass paintbrushes from them! But perhaps it is reasonable to assume that it wouldn’t have been as great. Right, now before we lose complete track of this…we only hire the best, because they get it right the first time, with absolutely no defects! They don’t have to be told what to do over and over again and save us a lot of time. The best people can put their point across to clients and can get along well
with other great people well! They don’t have to be spoonfed and they complete things by themselves. And while they’re doing all this, they inspire and motivate others, and win a sh*tload of awards for themselves and for the firm! Why the hell wouldn’t we hire only the best?

Why it makes sense to get the bigger picture? We all know the story of the woodcutter who sat on the branch he was cutting, don’t we? He fell so hard that he made a massive mark. A mark that went on to become a milestone…in idiocy! People who don’t see the bigger picture can definitely create quite the bang, but we believe in making noise in another way – through great work – which is only possible when you get the bigger picture! It’s simple. The bigger the picture is, the bigger the results are. Productivity and profitability go through the roof. The clients see the greatness of the value and the amount of respect you get from the right people is, well…greater! We’ll admit that it’s risky business, this whole bigger picture game. We’ll also admit that life’s a bit of a bore without the risks. Taking baby steps and putting one foot
Why it makes sense to do the right thing? forward at a time is all well and good, but if you don’t know where you’re going, what’s the point? Besides, it’s the only way to produce work that really stands out. It’s how we work.
There’s more than one way to 25 skin a cat. Fine, for the sake of animal rights activists we’ll say potato. Yes. Well, there’s more than one way to skin…to PEEL a potato. But there’s only one RIGHT way. We believe in doing the right things, the right way. Doing the right thing might not always be as easy as it sounds, but we think it’s totally worth it. For starters, people trust you more and you feel a hell of a lot better about yourself. Imagine going through life with your pain-in-the-a*s conscience incessantly prodding you… When you do the right thing, not only do your clients trust you more, but so do your peers! AND you can get a good night’s sleep without that drink…or two…or seven. We’re really particular about getting a good night’s sleep.

Each logo is a combination of letters of the word ‘Rezonant’ handpicked from different fonts.
All lowercase letters of the word ‘rezonant’ can be picked from ANY font. Just keep in mind that the characters you pick have enough character to work as a ‘mixed-type’ logo.
To make a customized Rezonant logo, follow this order:
Also, you can’t just go off on a picking spree. There’s an order to be followed while creating your logo. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that the Rezonant logo has eight letters. The order in which you pick them, however, is a little intricate.

z- with a descender for some consistency in the overall shape.
