ABOUT THE AUTHOR My name is Saket Bolisetty. I am 20 years old. I go to The Calais School in Whippany, NJ. I live in Randolph, NJ. In my spare time, I love to travel and visit art museums and large cities in America and around the world. I wrote this book because I love poetry and art.


ABOUT THE BOOK This book is about some limerick poems that I have written. These poems are inspired by 90’s Cartoons. I hope you will enjoy reading these poems and I hope you will get inspired by them. I also hope you will enjoy the colorful illustrations I drew in this book.


There once was a sponge from the sea. Who loved to drink yummy tea. He swam in the lake. And then ate some cake. And then he climbed up a tree.


There once was a young baby boy. Who loved to play with a toy. He crawled on the rug. To give his mom a hug. And then he giggled with joy.


There once was a girl in a zoo. Who loved to play with her shoe . She had a pet monkey. Who loved to look funky. And then she found something blue.


There once was a boy with a round head. Who loved to play on his bed. He played with his toy car. And ate a candy bar. And then his hair became red.


There once were two kids from New York. Who loved to eat with a fork. They went for a walk. And sat on a rock. And then they ate some good pork.


There once was a monster in a can . Who loved to play with a fan. He played in the park. Until it was dark. And then he rode back home in a van.


There once was a red cat and a blue dog. Who lived in a very small log. They both went outside. To go for a car ride. And then they met a green frog.


There once were two beavers in a dam. Who loved to eat yummy ham. They played in the park. Until it was dark. And then they slept with a clam.


There once was a young wallaby. Who lived near a very big tree. He hopped around his town. And then saw a clown. And then he played with a bee.


There once were two creatures in a park. Who always came out in the dark. They walked on the street. And then heard a beat. And then they heard a dog’s bark.


There once was a boy in middle school. Who loved to go to the pool. He swam in the lake. And then ate some cake. And then people thought he was cool.


There once was a girl with red hair . Who loved to go to the fair . She rode in her bike. And then went for a hike. And then she made friends with a hare.


There once was a girl with blue hair. Who loved to go to the fair. She played with a duck. And then drove a truck. And then she befriended a bear.


There once was a young science kid. Who did all his work on a grid. He went to his lab. And rode in his cab. And then he opened a jar lid.


There once was a young orange dog. Who lived in a very big log. He played with his bone. And then answered the phone. And then he ran in the fog.


There once lived a very young cow. Who had a very big eyebrow. She ate some green grass. And then went to class. And then she heard a cat’s meow.


There once was a really cool guy. He loved to play in the sky. He floated in the air. And then met a hare. And then he ate some pumpkin pie.


There once was a really cute weasel. Who loved to paint with an easel. He made some nice art. And then rode a cart. And then he played with a teasel.


There once was a really cool man. Who loved to drive in a van. He met a nice girl. And then bought a pearl. And then he cooked with a pan.


There once was a young orange cat. Who loved to sleep on a mat. He wore a red coat. And rode on a boat. And then he played with a rat.


There once was a red flying car. Who loved to fly with a star. He flew with a cloud. And yelled really loud. And then he ate a candy bar.


There once was a young orange tomato. Who loved to play in the snow. He swam in red sauce. And then had a ball to toss. And then he played with a crow.
