ELEVATIONS
The basic idea behind the design was inspired by the traditional courtyard houses but as the surface area of the structure is large so the court was divided in smaller courts catering to different clusters and the court create more interactive spaces in the institute.
5.
The 3 courts are designed as a interactive semi open and open spaces .
Water bodies in west direction helps in converting the hot air to cool air.
Overhead ventilators or jallis help in taking out the hot air from the internal habitable spaces.
SECTIONS
CULTURAL CENTER , BHOPAL.
The aim of design was to create a structure displaying or showcasing the culture of bhopal , what bhopal is known for , its past , its present , etc. . The design was intented to understand how to deal with contours while creating / designing onto it, how context governs the design . VI SEM
The design started with a tour or journey through bhopal. After returning from bhopal a mind map was created by me talking about what bhopal is all about what i understood of bhopal and this mind map was meant to govern some design considerations or a conceptualized thought about the design of cultural center.
The mind mapping helped in gaining the guidelines or a broad level concept of how the cultural center should be .
The planning is inspired by the planning by the old city core planning of the city, the center is planned accordingly seperating public semi public and private zones. in different clusters .
The center was designed on the concept of axis mundi is the world pillar is a symbol representing the center of the world connects the sky with the earth.
6.
Similarly the cultural center is designed as the journey which starts at the entrance to the center as the initiation of the axis all the knowledge gained at the center representing the world all the knowledge about bhopal in its art, culture and traditions and ending at the ataining the eternal knowledge , connecting to heaven at the meditation center.
The site is slightly sloping with a decend of 15 m from the road towards the lake. The site after analysed provides about 60 to 70 % of the land as buildable. the analysis provided the most viewing points for the site and all about drainage and vegetation details.

RESIDENTIAL TOWNSHIP , NAGPUR. The aim was to design a integrated township in the region of kanchipura the most premium of the all land in nagpur the township is meant to be designed responding to the context , how services should be responded at a large scale level i.e from individual dwelling unit to that of the site. *the design is ongoing problem.
SELECTED SITE Well connected with the existing residential area. MASTER PLAN Proposed master plan on the selected region of nagpur. The site i selected is at the node
Site can be more vibrant in terms of activities as it is abutting to the main road.
The site being at a major node of bajaj nagar sq. the most elite region of nagpur city . Being on a node the site can get most of the views over cityskyline .
Location: kanchipura, Bajaj nagar square, Nagpur, Maharashtra. VII SEM
Still the planning looks of a introvert nature which envelops the whole open area i.e. pedestrian zone so called semi private zone of the township.
The design is done keeping in mind the seperation between the vehicular traffic and pedestrians .
8.
In close proximity to the open and amenity spaces designed.
The vehicles move around the site easily approachable to each tower.
Previously the edge populated with trees and some commercial use is changes to commercial as well as a congregation

The edge thus not to keep up dead the 5% of the commercial area is given to the retail shops which would give the actvities on the edge along with bicycle and pedestrian pathway in the side margins of the site.
