Beating Poland 6-0 (2-0, 1-0, 3-0) secured the second place in Group B for Latvia. They were able to perform their best in an important game that was witnessed by 800 noisy schoolchildren having a great time. Coach Iiro Parviainen said he was pleased with his Latvian team. - Beating a good team like Poland with 6-0 is a good result and one must remember they have world class players like Mattias Mikulski and Tomasz Gaicki. We are going to play Finland who will surely pick up speed for the quarter-final. It is quite a challenge for use but a big opportunity, too.
