The concept of this Jewellery shop is thus derived from our own Indian heritage of majestic architectural monuments and museums of Delhi, Agra and Mumbai which have a unique attractive force similiar to that of jewellery.

The challenge was to design a Shopping Mall

In this design we were suppose to work on User Responsive, Climate Responsive and Services like Fire fighting, HVAC and Electrical sytems of the building.
South facade is coverd with a horizontal shading devices to reduces exposure to solar heat gain. The High performance glazing performs better than normal glazing in terms of thermal insulation and solar heat control. The high performance glass wall system offers good thermal and optical performance to lower cooling load, reduces the reliance on artificial lighting and hence reduce energy consumption. The reflecting shade inside the glazing achieves this by reflecting heat and reducing heat gain
Unlike other commercial comme spaces a shopping mall does not just provide a collective shopping experience but also malls have become a centre for social gathering where a lot of public interaction take place.

05 | CONCEPT The concept had to be sustainable as well as aesthetic. *Circular blocks were the first preference as they could easily circulate wind. *Inverted cone structures enabled better stability to the whole built form. Transfer of load was easier with inverted cones. *The slanted facade helped gain indirect indi light from the sun wheras preventing heat gain.

The project was a brief to design a Residence for a Doctor with a small clinic with in the house, keeping in mind his needs while the design should be climate responsive
As the Site is in Jaipur where the climate is HOT & DRY, i have put clima together the techniques to maintain the comfor t level, for example the water body is place along side the prevailling wind direction for the evaporative cooling to take place.

This is a krishna temple built by Krishna Bai Holkar in 1832, situated on the right wing of the rajwada, It has big centralhall with stupendous pillars bearing a massive roof, which is elaborately decorated. its system of lighting in the form of huge glass chandeliers is eye catching.
