Aimed to experience the process of realization of an object; from the study of its structure and function developed in construction plans, to the production of a model, based on the research of the materials and the possibility of some innovations or changes from the original. Memorial project in Paris

A memorial project in honor of King Henry IV of France, located in the historic city of Paris, in the Louis Aragon Square. The project centers in the analysis of the geometry of the memorial object as a resemblance of the royal crown.

Social housing project in the Palace of Versailles

The project is born with the goal to transform the huge palace of Versailles in a social housing condominium. Thinking in a fictional scenery, where there is a necessity to give this huge building a complementary function, apart form only tourist purposes, the project of social housing emerges. The challenge is to fulfill that goal while also respecting the structure and visual appearance of the historic palace. The project aims to occupy and adhere to the inner skeleton of the building. 30 apartments will be displayed in double height, following the duplex apartment morphology, with the main entrance from the upper floor of the palace. The structure of this cells or house living units is entirely made up of wood to enhance its lightness. Every house unit seeks the light through the original windows of the palace and the dormer windows of the roof plane.

Project of a Museum in Paris

located at the feet of the Champ de Mars, the museum develops initially from an old inudustry store, of one story plan. Its singular character, of consecutive gable roofs, gives the project the development of its physiognomy.

temporary workshop studio project As a consequence of the fire that happened in Notre Dame Catedral, a necessity for a temporary workshop studio for the engineers and architects have emerged. The professionals, in charge of the reconstruction of the roof of the cathedral, will require a space not only for working , but also for living there in the time the reconstruction lasts.

Kindergarten project placed in the main square of Quintanar de la Orden village (Castilla-La Mancha, Spain), the kindergarten project is envisioned as a small fenced garden, providing a safe place for the children. The building itself is constructed of wood, with a folding enclosure ensuring a constant dialogue with the garden.

Study of Highline apartments by Mies Van der Rohe

the main goal was to understand in the deepest level how this apartments were built and how all the facilities were displayed (water, sanitation, ventilation and heating). The final result of the research it's an axonometric drawing which reflects all the building's complexity, as well as technical constructive plans of the s t r u c t u r e o f t h e b u i l d i n g .

final career project initial research, hand drawings, plans and models FINAL CAREER PROJECT: a sea silk factory in Naples

the location of the final project was in Naples. The specific site chosen was in the sea shore, in the Gulf of Naples. This emplacement was due to the sea silk factory project. The sea silk, it's a long tradition of fiber production, whose primary resource it's the Pinna nobilis or the noble pen shell. The filamets that the mollusc itself uses to attach to the rocks under the sea, are the ones used to weave the sea silk. The project for the factory resembles the morphology of the bivalve and evokes its interaction with the sea waves and currents. The industry is developed in several co ncrete do mes l inked betw een them w ith other secondary units. The disposal of the shells (domes) its alongside the sea shore, connecting the sea (creating a sea port) and the train railway network.

initial studies_ the project is envisioned to function as a "living organism". The fabric will coexist and interact with the sea, that is why, a deep study of the sea currents, tides and waves was crucial and of a big importance. Moreover, it's needed to say that the project also have a significant connection with the surrounding, though not directly but visually: that is with the napolitan mountain landscape, especially with the mount Vesubio.

The project is a modular structure extended horizontally. For its development it was also capital to know and study the bathymetry of the sea. The program of the industry is expanded in a linear way, where the supply chain is organized. The fabric will produce tapestry from the sea silk fiber. The plan of the industry is displayed in chain units. At the top we find the water basins for the mollusk's habitat, where the fibers are collected. Afterwards, the yarn is washed and carded. Modules are used for drying the fibers, making the fabric and storing it. The connection and circulation guidelines between the units are arranged in the longitudinal corridor, with an access ramp, to the factory from the outside.

nal sis of a dome unit_ The biological machine works like a mollusk: the concrete shell is positioned outside, sheltering the vital organs inside. The concrete tank sucks the water in the central evacuation point and the program rises thanks to the technical floor, with a metallic structure, which houses the facilities.
