ICE LIDER – these are reliable multifunctional fishing rods, designed, first and foremost, for balanced and vertical lure fishing. An open spool allows controlling the quality of reeling of the fishing line, necessary for this type of fishing rods in winter time. The fishing rods have a convenient push-button stopper position switch. A reliable stopper will secure reliable hooking, i.e. the reel spool will be always safely fixed. The fishing rods come completed with medium -rigid fibreglass tips with ceramic inserts, the handle is equipped with stainless-steel rod guides.

Unlike other polymeric lines, which have microscopic faults on the surface, the sinking line FLUOROCARBON (specific weight – 1.72 g/cm2) preserves its properties in water, as repeatedly proved at fishing of cautious trout. There are much more bites to the fluorocarbon line than to ordinary line of the same diameter. Also the advantage of this sinking line is manifested in hypersensitivity of the whole fishing tackle. If we use an ordinary line and fish with lure at the depth of three meters, then at using of the sinking line of the same diameter and using the same lure the contact won’t get lost also at the depth of four meters. It can be successfully used not only for knitting leads, which dramatically increases the number of bites, but also as the main line. The line is made in Japan.

Between the eyelet and the hook, in the upper part of the jig there is a rust fly, which shapes the jig like a nymph and improves its catching capacity. These jigs have an outer coating made of Japanese luminous paint, with indent pattern. In darkness, depending upon the charged light the jig continues its attracting light emission for up to two hours.

These mormyshkas are insects’ imitations and they not only allow to fish larger fish, but often also become a «sheet-anchor» in the case of bad bite. This model has a stretched body and quite flat shape that provides to the jig quite wide swings attracting fishes from longer distances. Mormyshka jigs are the imitation of insects, in some cases they can «rescue» fishing from bad bite. In this model, if compared to an «ant» jig, the centre of gravity has been shifted, therefore its play has been changed too.

LUCKY JOHN «BAITLESS» TUNGSTEN MORMYSHKAS These baitless tungsten jigs appeared at SALMO Company comparatively not long time ago, and immediately became very popular among anglers. Initially the developers of jigs didn’t have a task of usual expansion of the assortment of lures, but there emerged a necessity in creation of really «working» and efficient lures. Therefore, more than one winter fishing season have been spent in order to choose and to test the lures, which are represented on the spread of the Catalogue.
All baitless jigs have passed tests and proved their attractiveness and high efficiency at catching of various fish species in rivers and watercourses of Baltics, Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. Baitless fishing becomes increasingly popular year in year out, as the practice has proved bigger fish bites these jigs. All baitless jigs are made applying original Japanese hooks. The Mormyshka, samples 1–15 are made on the basis of the 8243 «Nymph» series jigs, represented by three sizes and four basic colours. A flat depression in the body of the jig adds it an efficient play and safeguards attractiveness of the lure even without setting of a natural bait. The upper plane of all jigs is painted black.The movements of coloured beads on the hook are restricted by small plastic tube, which should be shifted and fastened to the bend of the hook in such position, in which the beads would have maximum wobbling during the jig play. These beads wobbling attract fish, but the jig’s striped colour and the size have been selected as the most efficient and universal.

The flies fastened on the basis of the 8224 «Drop» jig with an eyelet, of one size, which comes in five colours. The trimming of the jig allows catching of various fish from the ice in winter. Plunge the jig – fly into water and play with it – You’ll see how attractively its thin tarsus – wool strands are moving. The trials in many water courses have proved their excellent catching capacity, and on some days, they simply came to help, as fish didn’t want to bite at all.

Unlike the 1–15 samples, they have a sound stimulus as a silver chain. The wobbling of the striped beads and a «melodic» sound of the chain have repeatedly proved good efficiency of this baitless jig at ice fishing, as well as in summer at fishing with a long fishing rod with a lateral strick indicator. The only thing we’d like to lay stress on is that fishing with baitless jigs requires sensitive and well adjusted tackle. Only using it we can give the lure necessary swings and big fish won’t be long in coming.

A popular among anglers balanced lure for fishing of a big pike-perch, a perch and a pike. The length of the lure is 60 mm. For pike-perch fishing it can be successfully used at the depth of up to 13 metres, provided there is no stream in the pond. The following colours are particularly efficient for pike –perch: with blue back, «red head» – 18 and glowing – 33. Proved that at bad bite a pike – perch reacts to the colour 37. One should bear in mind that a pike, like a pike – perch, «respects» very much the colours of lures that have red tones. For perch fishing it is recommended to use a monofilament line of diameter from 0.18 to 0.25 mm (for pike and pike – perch fishing – up to 0.30 mm) or a braided line of 0.11 – 0.15 mm.
A balanced lure designed for big predator fishing, i.e., pike and pike – perch, including fishing at great depth and flowing watercourses. The length of the lure is 70 mm. As the lure is designed for big fish it is recommended to use monofilament line with diameter from 0.22 to 0.30 mm or a braided line of up to 0.17 mm. One should pay attention to models of 27 and 37 colour tones, where red colour prevails. A passive pike in winter, when the content of oxygen in watercourses is very low, can be lured only by unusual colour. At a goal fishing of a pike it is necessary to use an wire leader.

The bigger is the lure the bigger is the trophy! Depending on watercourse an attractive size of a lure should be approximated to the size of a fry from the prey item. The length of the lureis 80 mm. This lure can be used for pike-perch fishing at the depth up to 20 metres. Recommended colours for the «long jaws» are bright, with yellow and red colours prevailing. Don’t forget to use the gleaming colour – 33, «the red head» – 18 and to pick up lures with red tails. At bad bite you can get the best results with the 37th colour. Sometimes a pike or a pike-perch reacts only to a big lure, actively moving in the bottom layer. These sufficiently big 90 mm – long lures harvest a big area under the hole and attract predators from a long way off. Don’t forget that the bigger lure requires a longer pause between the rod strokes. These lures can be successfully used on rivers with streams and for sheer fishing, at open water in warm season. The lures of up to 25 mm long are used for fishing at the depth of up to 3 metres with use of a monofilament line with diameter of 0.12 up to 0.16 mm. In places where it is impossible to avoid hooking of submergent plants we recommend using a braided line of 0.09 mm. Perch is a cannibal – it eats very well its own small fries, therefore, first and foremost, try «striped» colours of lures.

The smallest lure among the FIN model balanced lures, is 40 mm long. An optimal application of the lure is the depth of up to 3.5 metres. For fishing it is recommended to use a monofilament line with diameter of 0.12 to 0.16 mm. While fishing, please, don’t forget to fish through the depth of water: from the bottom to the lower edge of ice. Sometimes a big perch «follows» a lure to the ice and decides to attack only under the hole.
A medium – size lure from FIN series. This lure can be successfully used for perch, pike and pike –perch fishing at the depth of up to 6 metres. For these lures it is recommended to use monofilament lines with diameter of 0.14 to 0.18 mm, or a braided line of 0.09 up to 0.11 mm. Depending upon likings of local predators, you can pick up a required colour of the lure. At pike fishing don’t forget to use a wire leader.

Easily assembled/disassembled HOT CUBE frame structure tents with canopies fixed to frames can be set up and dismounted for few seconds. Tents are produced in two dimensions: for 2 and 3 persons. Mounted tents are of cubic shape with cambered outwards walls. It provides increase of inner space and the maximal freedom of fishers’ actions that allows them even to stand up in full length. Robust fiberglass frame provides secure keeping of the cubic shape in the conditions of the strongest wind and also prevents snow collection on the tent roof. Strong waterproof and heat-saving canopy material with the wide snow skirt over the tent full-length provides full protection from wind, snow and rain. In the case of using special heating devices the canopy impregnated material keeps well the warm air inside the tent. The tents are equipped with adjustable ventilation windows with wind flaps. Four big transparent windows from all sides of the tent provide sufficient lighting inside the tent even in a dull winter day and allow comfort viewing of the happenings outdoors. Transparent windows can be removed if necessary or entirely closed in dependence on fishing circumstances. In the present time there is no other tent of this type able to provide so high natural inner lightening. There are light-reflecting light-reflective security patches outside of the tents from 4 sides purposed to prevent snowmobile accidents. The tent comes with 6 gimlets-screw stoppers and 4 holdouts for the reliable tent mounting on ice in windy weather. During transportation the tent can be placed into the secure bag that can be easily carried as a pack. After having fished at least once in HOT CUBE tent in conditions of strong frost you won’t like to fish in the less comfortable conditions.
