Hair advice from the experts
Colour Saver
Quick curls
Place the barrel midstrand, then wrap hair around it. Hold, don’t clamp, for 10 seconds.
Banish static
Spritz a shine spray directly on to your brush to smooth flyaway strands.
Watts up
Always use a hairdryer with at least 1,600 watts. It will shave minutes off styling sessions, even at low power.
Speed dry
Squeeze water out of your hair with a towel instead of rubbing. Then blow-dry with a vent brush.
Rain check
If it’s raining, tuck your hair behind your ears with gel to keep it frizz-free.
Always wash coloured hair in tepid water – hot water will strip away your colour.
