A million dollar makeover

The zappas team was happy to participate in a recent Bracknell News make-over competition.

Theresa Mercer was the lucky winner, chosen from a huge amount of entries. Theresa was at an all-time low when she decided to enter the competition – feeling extremely down and overweight.

Over four months Theresa underwent an extensive make-over which included dental work, a facial make-over with Botox and a strict fitness and weight loss regime, as well as life coaching.

The team at zappas were on hand to help make Theresa’s transformation complete with a brandnew hair colour and style. The results were absolutely breathtaking, as we’re sure you’ll agree!

A rising star

Congratulations to Hayley for receiving the 2008 Apprenticeship Hairdressing Education Award from the Henley Training Company.

She’s progressed within the salon group by consistenly producing high standards of work at every stage. Well done!

L’Oréal i.d. artist Leanne Humphries has been living the high life as part of the very exclusive team. August saw the team having an inspiring and educational audience with hairdressing legend Trevor Sorbie. Then Leanne received stage and show coaching from Simon Shaw, which has helped her presentation skills hugely. She’s been working at various shows, showcasing the new collections as well as serving as an ambassador for the tecni.art range. She’s also recently travelled to Barcelona to learn even more!
