1. Evaluate and justify the price increase
Assess your numbers
The first step towards raising your prices is to dedicate time to evaluate your numbers.
Where have there been increases in your running costs?
Once you can accurately see where your finances are up to, you can see where and how you need to increase your prices.
Remember, your business needs to make money to survive, and you have to know your worth and put yourself first.
2. Plan and communicate effectively
Explain the value
Clients need to understand not just that prices are going up, but the reason why. A well-thought out explanation that highlights the value of your services can turn a potentially negative situation into a positive.
Be prepared to emphasise your quality & expertise, showcase service enhancements and upgraded products, and address rising operational costs.
Give advance notice
Ensure that a price change is communicated in good time to avoid clients getting an unforeseen surprise.

STEP 1: DESIGN BRIEF
“I wanted to create a space which felt light, airy and had a calm atmosphere. I achieve this by using lots of plants against white walls and added some natural wood” - Charlotte
Ground floor: 5\6 styling stations, 2 washpoints with dispensary colour store, reception desk, waiting area, coffee station and toilet.
First Floor: 2 treatment rooms, office, staff kitchen area, laundry room and toilet.
STEP 2: PLANNING & DESIGN
Guided by Charlotte’s vision, our team provided furniture selections, fabric swatches, and 2D CAD drawings with a full layout plan to create a space that is both aesthetically pleasing and functional. We paid close attention to practical details, such as electrical connections, sockets, water supply and drainage, ensuring every aspect of the design worked for the team and a calming space for the clients.
Our design also included a large bespoke dispensary unit and colour store designed to sit behind the backwashes.
STEP 3: ORDER YOUR FURNITURE
Once Charlotte was happy with our final designs and furniture selections our team got to work with the build, alongside ordering and delivering the furniture to meet the salon opening deadline.
