Cuba Libre INGREDIENTS ½ - 1 ounce of freshly squeezed lime juice 1½ - 2 ounces light (white) rum 3 - 4 ounces Coca-Cola lime wheel or slice for garnish PREPERATION Fill a tall glass with ice cubes. A large rocks glass works, too. Add freshly squeezed lime juice, rum, then top with Coca-Cola. Stir briefly to combine ingredients, and garnish with a lime wheel or slice. Serve with or without straws.

It’s all about having the time of your life IS IT SUMMER ALREADY? Just to make one thing clear – it’s not that I don’t like winter at all. I like Christmas. And snow (when I’m looking at it from my warm apartment). And all the New Year’s fuss about making some ground-breaking changes about your lives. It’s fun (if nothing else). But yeah, that’s about it. So it’s quite amazing to realize that your favourite Summer dance craze is just about 5 months away! What’s great about it all is that you really get tonnes of chances in these two weeks to make some lifetime memories. Use them! ‘Cause in the end you’ll definitely be more sorry about the things you didn’t do, than the ones you did (you’ll forget about this feeling of embarrassment in no time ;)). hungry after parties?
Many shops close earlier during the weekend (especially on Sunday), so make sure you get your souvenirs on time!
The only place to eat in the early morning hours that is opened is a small bakery called “Dan i noć” in Giosue Carducci street, close to Adris Old Tobacco Factory.
kuna is what you need
getting around
Official currency in Croatia is kuna, so make sure you exchange your money when you get to Rovinj. Croatia is indeed in the EU, but euros are still not accepted.
Rovinj is a really small town so you can get anywhere within 15 minutes on foot. It’s also really bike-friendly, so if you could bring your own or rent a bike – you could get anywhere in flashes.

Smoking is generally prohibited in all restaurants and some bars and cafes, but many bars and cafes have a separated area for smokers so that should do the trick if you’re dying for a smoke.
