We had another great year at Transform 2011 – our second year in the new format at the new site. There were lots of highlights and we are inviting you to join us again for Transform 2012.
After Easter
As a team we have really enjoyed seeing the family in the UK unite under the banner of the vision for the next few years – our 2020vision> and we are keen to see people moving on in their personal faith, in their churches and in their local communities. So this year our theme is: Radical disciples… equipped and empowered. We heard last year that there are loads of opportunities for us to take and while we are doing so we need equipping and empowering – by one another but also by God. We are pleased to announce our initial line-up of speakers and activities for the programme and we will be announcing more in the run up to the event.
£25 £50 £75 £100 £50 £75
So, please consider coming to Transform for a great time of enjoying family life together, encountering Jesus and being transformed by His power. Booking is open now – do take advantage of the early booking discounts. We are expanding camping on site this year so there is plenty of room for your friends and if camping isn’t for you there are a variety of B&Bs and hotels nearby. We look forward to seeing you there.

Malcolm Duncan Malcolm Duncan is fast becoming a well known face at Salt & Light events and we regard his as a dear friend of the family. He has spoken at our European Leaders’ Conferences and is an inspirational, lively teacher and preacher. He is currently the Senior Pastor of Gold Hill Baptist Church.
Katherine Ruonala is described as a prophetic evangelist who has a sincere passion to seek the presence of the Lord. Katherine ministers in various settings looking to see God perform miracles, speak prophetically and share God’s love with all. Katherine is with us for the whole week and will be leading a number of seminars as well as speaking in the main adult programme.
Mark Mumford Mark Mumford is the team leader of the UK Apostolic Team and the senior leader of EMCF in the Midlands. Mark is well known in the UK Salt & Light family and speaks passionately, envisioning individuals and churches to engage with the mission set before them. As well as co-hosting the event Mark will be speaking during the adult programme.
In four age groups they’ll be learning about God’s love and purposes for their lives through the usual mediums of Bible stories, silly games, exciting worship, messy and creative activities and the power of the Holy Spirit. Group leaders: Y3-6 Sam Hughes and Team Y R-2 To Be Confirmed – check www.saltlight.org/uk for more details Age 3-4 Tonia Vincent and Team Age 0-2 Jen Huffadine and Team Special Educational Needs: Our SEN coordinator, Gail Ridge, will work with families to identify any support required for children with additional needs. You will be given the opportunity to highlight any needs when pre-registering your children for their groups. Special note: Please pre-register your children for their groups before arriving on site – more information will be given with your booking information.
Tom and Sarah Butler and the Youth team lead an action packed programme for 11-18 year olds. New features this year include an extra chill out venue for young people. We expect God to meet us and transform us into radical missional disciples… most of the real action on the camp is in the youth venues! We want you to have the best week of your life enjoying the camp with new and old friends, frantic leaders and the best friend you’ve ever had. (Yes… Jesus is the right answer.)
Life on the camp We will be making several improvements to the site this year – not just to the number of toilet rolls: The HUB will include an Olympic Café where you can catch up on news and events from the Olympics (the camp starts the day after the Opening Ceremonies) as well as meeting people for coffee and snacks. The HUB is the main meeting point of the camp, containing the info point, bookstalls and more. The camp BBQ will be serving early evening and late night fare and the 18-30s bar venue will make a return after hours.

2011 MEMORIES
Our Adult programme this year will feature the usual mix of celebration meetings with main speakers and a range of seminars to attend. Each day will have a short morning seminar session followed by the main morning plenary. Every evening we will join together for a main celebration. We are looking for not only great times of celebration but transformation through inspirational teaching and the presence of God.

FOR ADULTS
Our programmes for the under 18s are a fantastic part of Transform – dedicated teams from around the Salt & Light family work tirelessly to equip and empower children and young people – they are the next generation who will carry the mission!
We are also organising more family activities through the camp – look out for more info on the website. Rumour has it that your favourite family entertainer JJ will make another appearance….
Camping Camping is great fun – you can share meals and tents with your own church family and get to know one another better! You can borrow or hire a tent or caravan if you don’t have one. The site is organised into church villages so you camp with people you know but you will only be a short distance from people you might not know. Some camping essentials will be on sale on site and there will be food and groceries available to buy also. More information and resources on the web at: www.saltlight.org/uk
Off-Site Accommodation There is no on site accommodation at Lenchwood so if you aren’t a camper you will need to make your own arrangements. For more information about what is available in the surrounding area check the web site. Alternatively if you live close by you can “commute” in each day.
