UNDERWATER CRAWLER
HOLDING, LLC
The VHC Underwater Crawler creates a new paradigm in crawling Using the patented VRAM, the VHC Underwater Crawler boasts surface-independent mobility, no magnets are required. The Crawler has no filters or internal surfaces that can become fouled or contaminated. The VRAM is much more efficient than propellers, generating over 30 pounds of attraction from a single unit. The VHC Underwater Crawler has a compact design that allows for close up inspections in confined areas. Measuring 9.8”W 8.4”L 2.8”H the Crawler weighs as little as 8 lbs dry, 3lbs wet and can crawl 30 feet per minute. The VHC Underwater Crawler is easier and more intuitive to control than comparable swimming inspection vehicles. The wireless Bluetooth Operator Control Unit (OCU) allows users to control the Crawler with the freedom to move around topside. This feature is great because the OCU can remain free of contamination and operators can work in areas with low background radiation without long cables. The VHC Underwater Crawler contains no native hardware susceptible to radiation damage, enabling long operational life without degradation.
Equipped with Crystal Cam™, the Crawler can gather video footage even in low visibility environments
Ideal for routine inspection of hulls, tanks, reactors, and most underwater structures. The Crawler can operate on most surfaces.
