Hello, everyone! The last 18 months have certainly been something, haven’t they? I hope you have all made it through, both physically and mentally, and you’re ready to get life back to normal and have some fun. Here at Duggers, we have used this as a period of change — moving just down the street to a new location and building a 10,000 sq. ft. two-level store. We’re thrilled with the results. Designed by our friend Paul Thibault — along with our landlord, Westwood Developments Limited — we have created what we think is a world class menswear store right here in Halifax. The new store features an escalator, a special area for custom clothing, a beautiful new bar/coffee nook, a new expanded shoe area, a big and tall section and even a cigar lounge — as well as shelves and racks stocked with the very latest men’s fashion and accessories. We are asked constantly if we have an online presence. Yes, we do, but it only reflects a small sampling of the thousands of items available in-store. (Many customers have been appreciating the drive-by pick-up option, as well as home delivery.) We’re so appreciative of our customers who have supported us during these difficult times, and we want to offer our sincere thanks for supporting our locally owned and operated business. A special thanks to our wonderful team, led by Jeff Piccott, for working so hard during this challenging retail period. It hasn’t been easy, and what’s kept them going is the desire to serve our customers again in a world that feels closer to “normal.” Hope we see you soon. Sincerely,
