These are just a few of the topics that visitors will be able to talk to experts about. Mili y Molo a pair of very friendly brothers who are lots of fun to learn and play with. Their shows will be held under a tent with a seating capacity of 40 to 60 children per show. They will perform on a special decorated stage with professional lighting and sound systems. Once the show is completed, Mili, Molo and their guests will spend some time with the children to take pictures and sign autographs. In addition to the shows, the Kids Zone will have Bouncing attractions, Rock Climbing, Cotton Candy, Snow Cones, Pop Corn, Face Painting and many more fun things to do. We have stabilized the cost for the food; No Food plate will cost more than $8.00. PR Fiestas Patronales is bringing cooks from Puerto Rico with the authentic flavor from the mountains, and we are assembling the largest Puerto Rican Restaurant ever put together in Florida. It will be open for lunch, and dinner, with a different menu every day, but from Friday to Sunday before you finish the night, you will also be able to get your ASOPAO con Tostones. Our business community is an essential part of this event. PR Fiestas is one of the very few events of this type that brings the business community together. For them we have created at the VIP area a private cocktail reception, on Saturday November 15, 2008 at 6:00 PM. All you need to get into the reception is your business card and ID.
Components The Beary Fun Bus is a majestic red London Double Decker bus which has been professionally converted into a Kids playground and sports/fitness area. The Beary Fun Bus provides a fun-filled environment where Children get terrific exercise while they have a blast!. It is climate controlled, supervised by adults and fully enclosed with lots of fun and structured fitness programs.
The Fiestas Patronales offers entertainment for the entire family. As an element of our four day event, attendee of all ages will enjoy a full carnival with rides for all ages.
On Saturday night and for the first time in Florida we will have a Puerto Rican Plena Festival. From a local Plena group to authentic crafters of the plena Music and instruments from the island, will all come together for a strong majestic percussion Plena Beat. We will then finish the night with a parade where they all will follow the leader with vejigante masquerade and instruments as they dance, play and march.

PR Fiestas Patronales A Hispanic Tradition
In most Hispanic countries, held in the town square these festivals are colorful displays of pride and joy, featuring parades, games, rides, regional food, and live entertainment. Most Fiestas Patronales feature verbenas (in Spanish-speaking cultures, a verbena is a country fair, modest amusement park, and/or a dance party, especially one held at night with live entertainment by famous international or local singers), amusement rides, and street vendors, among other things, during the celebration. The famous group “ Menudo� and many others began their career by singing at these events in Puerto Rico

The PR Fiestas Patronales & Business Expo started as a Puerto Rican festival and after seven (7) years of successful festivities, it has become the most popular event among the Hispanic community in south Florida. As celebrated each year in Pembroke Pines, south Florida brings the Hispanic tradition to life. A four (4) day event, the largest Hispanic event in Broward County, and awaited upon with great anticipation, it commences its celebration during the month of November. First Horizon Mission My First Horizon is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing quality residential placement and advocate safety, dignity, independence and civil rights for individuals with developmental disabilities. My First Horizon Group Home Inc. is committed to helping these people to live, work and to enjoy the leisure activities that help integrate them to the community and achieve their personal goals.
First Horizon Goals My First Horizon , Inc. has a single-family home in Hollywood, Florida in a pleasant neighborhood with spacious bedrooms and adequate yard space. It’s convenient central location is within close proximity to shopping malls, restaurants, parks, recreation, and public transportation. It is the goal of My First Horizon to dramatically improve the quality of life for developmentally disabled residents. The group home model will support an interdisciplinary approach with all service providers, family and friends of the individuals served. Individualized intervention will be implemented to modify behavior, while teaching and maintaining functional, social, communication and living skills so residents can be more self-reliant.
Proven Success
The PR Fiestas Patronales and Business Expo at Pembroke Pines, Fl from the beginning in 2001 is the first event of its type in Florida. Hosted in Broward County, this cultural, business and musical festival has become Florida’s largest Puerto Rican event and one of the most popular, respected Hispanic musical events in South Florida. In December of 2005 the Broward County Commission gave a proclamation, Whereas, Fiestas Patronales has been attended by over 100,000 people in the past four events.
